I've had the misfortune of playing a great number games lately where I was put up against some seriously impressive players. While my sodium levels were indeed on the rise, I couldn't help but admire how damn deadly some of these guys were.
They were fantastic at escaping seemingly impossible situations, spot on with sniping or excellent shotgun warriors, and seemed to know exactly how to pinch and pressure me and my team (90% of them were in fireteams so no surprise there).
Most don't respond, but I feel being a good sport about it all helps take the edge off at least a little.

I admire receiving a GG from a losing player or a random partner in doubles. Certainly takes the edge off after some games.

1 RispondiI actually did. I'm not sure it means much coming from someone of my skill level but now days, doing anything nice or saying anything nice to a stranger? Man, makes the world a tiny bit better. I know it's just a game but think how you'd feel if someone sent that. It wouldn't make your day but if you were feeling down it might bring u up a little. Lol, that's a bit deep for a game but the principle is what i'm aiming at. Have a great weekend everyone!

1 RispondiYes. I get mad though when they don't acknowledge.
-
I will send gg to anyone if I feel it was actually a good game
-
Not if theyre cocky and teabagging and shit, but if it was a good fight and they are just better, yeah ill send gg sometimes
-
I had a rumble match that was just me and two other guys (thanks sbmm) and it was a fierce match, with me barely winning and i sent the guy a gg message
-
Last night in elimination, got a "u 2" back.
-
I usually do when I run iron banner and there is an extremely close game, I'll message their teams leader with gg and usually they message back. At least some people still know how to show good sportsmanship
-
I will.
-
3 RisposteYes but lately no one replies back, I think that they think it means git gud.
-
Sent 2 tonight during trials after 2 close games, both responded positively.
-
Always send them and always disregard salty msg's even though i replied to one the other day and the person i sent it to got me communication banned even though he was provoking and using "bad" language to me i still got the bad end of the stick oh well...
-
Last time I played trials, I sent gg to every member of every team, win or lose. I was surprised at the number that responded positively, I even got an apology from someone that teabagged at the end of the match. It was actually a pretty pleasant experience...

2 RisposteJust did the other day and got a "git gud scrub" reply. I decided to look at the guys stats and what not. Belongs to a group calling themselves "Sherpas" of some sort. The group's mission statement " helping others, having fun" of course I replied "what's with the asshole attitude" his response was "how do i know you're not trying me?" For someone calling themselves a Sherpa, and a mission of helping others. He sure didn't seem to be doing a good job of it.
-
I used to, but I don't anymore. Most ppl just send a rude reply back. I still do in other games, but never destiny unless they send it first.
-
I used to always love sending GG to people... But nowadays, most people think you're trying to start some shit with them. Terrible, really...

Modificato da Milk: 7/9/2016 12:57:13 AMNope because we both live in an echo chamber and you're never wrong in your echo chamber.

Sent one the other day after a rumble match. Went back and forth with someone the whole game. In the end, I won by 30 points.
-
All the time, it's just a game

Modificato da OldboyVicious: 7/9/2016 12:44:41 AMI rarely do, but my friends and I came up against a clan fireteam in elimination. They were really good at sniping. We adjusted our tactics, trying to overcome, and ended up losing 5-4. In the end, we got outplayed and their truly superior sniping defeated us. It was pretty close, an intense match where in the final round when it was 4-4, we weren't sure if we could pull off the victory, and when we ended up losing, it wasn't salty, it was the feeling of a good game that was well matched against an opponent who just got that edge to push and win. It was one of those rare truly fun and exciting matches. After we were all dead, an enemy did a bow emote next to my bubble, which I thought was a nice change from getting teabagged haha. I sent a message to the fireteam leader saying "Good game guys, that was some fine sniping." They sent back a message saying "Good game to you too, nice playing." That's the Destiny I wish I'd see more often.

1 RispondiOften. I usually send "well played!" Trolling begets trolling. Civility begets civility. I prefer to keep things civil.
-
I always worry someone will take it the wrong way, best to let my lack of skill speak for itself 😉
-
1 RispondiUsually elimination and trials have been strewn with toxic players i go up against; but every now and then ill get some nice messages either saying "gg" or "sorry ur teammates bailed, gg for sticking it out"

If it was an actual good game i send them, however if i gwt teabagged i try my hardest not to send any message because I'll probably get banned. (:

Sent a game well played message to a guy during trials who's two teammates quit and he was still holding his own on 3v1 Ended up becoming friends over it
