Petition for a primary weapon only crucible mode
Based on feedback, that would only include auto rifles, hand cannons, pulse rifles and scout rifles.
Exotics occupying the wrong slot would probably have to be tossed out of the mix. If not, it defeats the purpose of the primary only mode.
No supers. No grenades. Maybe no melee. I'm undecided on this one.
You would be able to switch between three different primary weapons the same way it is done now.

I say abilities but no special or heavy spawn. Sidearm effects, Invective effects, and Ice breaker effects are disabled. All exotics usable, even TLW and Universal Remote/NLB (they're blody exotic what do you expect)

Some people that run MIDA + sniper and sit only on the furthest boundaries of the map to go for kills that are completely uncontested may not have the greatest gun skill) someone who is good at sniping has good aim, and therefore their primary game will also be really good so you'll probably still get killed a ton. Also, this gamemode would just come down to using the best subclasses more so than it already is. Trust me it probably wouldn't be as fun as you might think it sounds.

24 RisposteI got an idea to make this post a bit better: Primary only game mode -You can only use weapons that are common, uncommon, or rare. -There will not be any legendary or exotics weapons -There will not be any special abilities for melees, grenades, or Supers. (This includes voiding any and all subclasses - you can use any armor pieces but all perks and abilities are voided. -the guns you can use will not have any perks on them. (The only thing u can change on the gun is the sight). - No heavies or specials - light level will not matter in this game mode - there is no special jump ability either If anyone has a good add on to my list here I'll put it in.

Or at least like restriction matches similar to PoE mods but tailored towards crucible. That would be cool.

I would like a no ability game mode. Strictly primary vs primary. See who actually has gun skill and who doesn't.
