When did YOU last feel powerful?

Bungie... I DON'T feel powerful. Last time I [i]really [/i]felt powerful was back in Year One when I used my Gjallerhorn to melt the story Skolas in three shots. THAT was the last time I felt powerful in this game. Last time before [i]that [/i]was when Hand Cannons packed a real whallop and perks felt to me like they meant something,.
Now a lot of people would say these were OP. Yeah, I guess so. But it was the last time I [i]personally [/i]felt powerful. My Year 2 Void Bow never felt powerful to me, even at it's hieght. My hand cannons feel like peashooters and my rockets feel weak.
But I'm not here to talk about OP vs UP or PVP vs PVE or anything like that.
Instead I want to ask you all a question:
When was the last time YOU felt Powerful? Why is that?

1 RispondiWhen my GG was actually killing Majors efficiently after the update. Hunters weren't killed, people are overreacting to this update.

4 RisposteHonestly, it was never in Destiny. Kingdom Hearts II. Near the end of the game. I have only a few things left to do before I face the big bad. One of these things is an army of Heartless a thousand strong. Each one must fall to my Keyblade before I can move on. This battle won't even compare to the one that's coming. But fight it I must. I'd say that this is what the Greeks felt like when they fought against Persia at the battle of Thermopylae. But they had each other. I've only got my sword and the speed of my thumbs. Tell me that's not -blam!-ing power

2 RisposteSo, an easy button gamebreaking tracking rocket with mini tracking clusters is what it takes to make you feel powerful? Go for it. Enjoy your epic 13 second boss battles. The rest of us are fine with aiming and using skill.

Never. I was a main Hunter and I felt weaker with abilities that the other classes but on Warlock, I felt like a beast. Good guns, great abilities and somewhat good appearance

This morning running heroic strikes as a striker and Storm caller. Felt damn good.

During HoW once I had my characters up to 34. The best of times in the game.

When I got a triple kill using my NLB. All were headshots and one was a panic hipfire shot.

When TTK first came out, and you used sunbreaker in PvP. Nuff said.

When I still had jolders hammer with field scout... When you picked up special and actually got a fair amount of ammo, when I could use fatebringer in strikes and raids, Etc. the list could go on for a while lol

When I got a double down, first blood with my tip mines. Or later that match when I sniped a warlock in the head mid nova bomb and he didn't die( I was using a low impact sniper). And later that match when I sniped a shadow shot in animation...... I felt sorry for that guy....

When I went into year one nightfall with my trusty icebreaker and fatebringer.

Killing the gate lord, killing the 3 ultras on black garden, so basically any ultra from vanilla now. Swords were an awesome addition to game as far as feeling powerful. The only time I don't feel powerful is when I almost die patrolling the cosmodrome from lvl 7 and 9 enemies. That is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Other than that I'm happy with how powerful I feel while playing.

Last time I was online. Seriously though, run heroic strikes with nothing but Arc and you will wreck.

Last time was in year one: I had my last word out and my sniper I died once that game and got over forty kills with multiple three on ones. Let me ask you a question would that have ever happened with sbmm? Ya

PvE: Right now with Fist of Havoc PvP: Sunbreaker before nerf. That was so OP but I loved it
