can you stop with the armour and give me a longbow already
Surely a Longbow in 60 something packages is a high chance right? looks like it isn't
It's probably made worse by the fact people who don't even use snipers in pvp get one in their first 10 packages but you're still grinding 60 packages later having got -blam!- all.

Edit 2: a few people suggested equiping lower light gear. I tried that but someone mentioned 2 minutes before opening so have to try that.
edit 3: I have started equiping my Felwinters sniper before opening packages. From my first Crucible package I got a Tao Hua Whateverthe-blam!-itendsin and a DO shotgun. also got my 7th Grim Citizen. Seems to be helping
Edit 4: Y1 weapon is definitely working, just got two special weapons back to back from crucible and DO. Seems to only work if you use it for the majority of the rank up though.

Gotten Titan marks my last 8 rank ups with FWC. I think it's cuz I taunted Lakshmi after the second time in a row that she gave me boots

Got an LDR the day the update came out... deleted it cause of shit perks... havent got one since.

Today i got my First Longbow, it has crappy perks but i love it. Im still grinding for a better LDR.

Mostly get armor but luckily have had the 1 longbow drop, and fortunately the roll is actually quite decent not godly but decent. (on my warlock if you wanna look) but still I really want a devil you know! that was my favorite weapon throughout most of year 1 the only thing that really replaced it in my loadout was fatebringer because its fking fatebringer!

I've dropped two out of about 100 packages. One has shit perks, the other even worse ones. I don't want to be dramatical sir, but keep in mind that if you will ever drop it again it may have shit perks, lol. Conclusion: Go with 1000 yard state.

I've received Exactly 1 weapon from Crucible/Vanguard/Faction Packages. It was a Longbow, but with shhit perks, Guerilla Fighter and Exumed.....Instant Legendary Marks. Everything else has been Armour. Mostly Gloves and Boots. I gave up on the Grind long ago.

Same goes for Variks. Have gotten nothing but class Items after week two of the april update. FOR ALL THREE CHARACTERS.

Exactly how I feel although I did just get my 2nd longbow and it had a great roll. I feel the same that Destiny drops way too much armor and a few weapons that mostly have junk perks. We have perks in the game that noone wants. It's really freaking stupid.
