can you stop with the armour and give me a longbow already
Surely a Longbow in 60 something packages is a high chance right? looks like it isn't
It's probably made worse by the fact people who don't even use snipers in pvp get one in their first 10 packages but you're still grinding 60 packages later having got -blam!- all.

Edit 2: a few people suggested equiping lower light gear. I tried that but someone mentioned 2 minutes before opening so have to try that.
edit 3: I have started equiping my Felwinters sniper before opening packages. From my first Crucible package I got a Tao Hua Whateverthe-blam!-itendsin and a DO shotgun. also got my 7th Grim Citizen. Seems to be helping
Edit 4: Y1 weapon is definitely working, just got two special weapons back to back from crucible and DO. Seems to only work if you use it for the majority of the rank up though.

7 RispostePretty sure RNGesus is rigged to drop you things you don't use to try to get you to diversify. Try rocking a shotty or a fusion for a while. Can't hurt.

You aren not the only one. Ive gotten two weapons from crucible package since the April update. TWO. Not two decent perked guns, but two guns. One was an immediate dismantle, the other is semi decent. The rest have all been armour, ships and crap. Its so bullshit. Pray on rng to give you a weapon instead of the other things, then pray to rng for the correct weapon, and then pray for decent perks. Lets not forgot the amount of time you have to spend before getting the package.

Got a long bow with the shirt zoom scope from the first crucible package I opened since coming back next week. I threw that right into my vault cuz it's not a shotgun

Over 150 packages, only armour and yes I can remember by heart 9 guns with crap rolls. The best 3 were lord high fixer and 1 grim citizen, funny enough they all had grenadier perks. Shaxx you can kiss zavalas ass then swap over, bungie bum boys.

Got mine after I decided to grind packages and got it on my second try... I don't even use it anymore.

I've nearly quit destiny after getting shafted out of around 45 vanguard/crucible packs. I no longer want to play because since April I've wanted longbow or ldr and haven't gotten one.

The first couple weeks it was ship after ship. Now it's either gear, which I have no desire for, or crap year 2 weapons every now and then. It's so dumb seeing someone with a longbow, with a perfect roll, and in just over here deleting more boots.

Meanwhile every other scrub i inspect in the crucible have a godroll longbow with shortgaze, hiddenhand, snapshot.. How da hell is that even possible? And now about 20 packages more still no grim citizen! After 100 packages Bungie you have yet to give me 1 grim citized!! Ranked up 3 times yesterday, got 2 helmets and boots, FML, or rather FUG! (fuvk ur game).. aand dont get me started on the LDR and shadow price.. :(

I stopped playing destiny 6 months ago and just came back. In the 2 weeks I play again I got: LDR triple tap and firefly Shadow price shitty rolls TDYK shitty rolls The comedian decent rolls Grim citizen decent rolls But I Use all the weapons just because they are great weapons from year 1.

Same can be said for me, but with the Shadow Price. Had 3 longbows with the shittiest scopes and rolls possible :/

The drops from Veriks, Vanguard and Crucible are awful. I gave up even trying. Shit is stupid.

Yea I've tried that trick everyone was going on about putting on highest light gear with a year 1 secondary. I can can tell you with certainty that all that does is lower the light your item drops at. I've never even recived a secondary from the packages

I'm still waiting for a shadow price to drop, the drop rate has got to be around 1.5-2% it's absolutely ridiculous. There is grinding then there is this, out of the "new" weapons to be brought back I have had a LDR and a Lord high fixer (not sure if this was a year 1 weapon) everything else has been boots or a class item.

Gotten Titan marks my last 8 rank ups with FWC. I think it's cuz I taunted Lakshmi after the second time in a row that she gave me boots
