There are two aspects of this that make me upset and they are not the actual cancelation of the event itself. The first is that I feel that this was not a well advertised issue. If the Iron Banner was canceled, there should be a message on the front page about it instead of a tiny line on the forum page, and they definitely shouldn't have the featured article be about the return of Iron Banner on the front page. The second thing is that this is the second time this has happened in recent months. The may Iron Banner was delayed and thought canceled due a similar unforeseen glitch, though thankfully returned in time. I wish that Bungie would be more transparent and communicate about this kind of thing better, instead of getting me excited, coming in at 10am eastern, and being confused when the Tower courtyard shutters are closed, and then having to check the forums for answers.

6 RisposteI am not upset as such that Iron Banner has been cancelled, I am more frustrated with yet another clear example of the poor development practices that Bungie have demonstrated yet again. This patch was not advertised, it was not promised, there was no expectation from players that it was going to land, so Bungie have no excuse in releasing a patch that was clearly not ready. This is not the first time and will not be the last time that we see Bungie fail.

But this behavior is the worst I've seen from this community. I've said my piece, goodbye. C'mon, type down below how wrong I am about you and how it's ironic that I'm complaining about people complaining. Edit: This is directed to the people complaining and acting like monkeys over Iron Banner being cancelled for a week. The rest of you are okay and I'd party with any of you any day.

I feel better now. I am off to Yosemite for the rest of the week, and was mad I would have missed one of the only opportunities a freelance PvP player has to up their light level. I do feel the anguish of those that would have been able to enter glorious battle though. Therefore, I up your post OP. Thank you!

We are all frustrated, but spare me of the entitlement. Many of us have put enough hours into this game where our total time invested essentially costs us a penny/hour to play. I can forgive something they are working towards correcting. Ever heard of a recall? Your favorite car company has undoubtedly had one before. Life goes on.

1 RispondiOther mmo type games do just that if the game suffers downtime or access to certain features is lost. CCP are particularly good with this kind of thing, maybe bungie should take a look how they operate.
