Overwatch is extremely balanced
think of it. Obviously some things need tweaking. For example I think Genji's ult is lackluster while Torbjörn's turret is too powerful. But besides little things like that, it is super balanced. There is not one hero that is just not good. Maps usually aren't easier depending on if you're defending/attacking, etc.
