I dont care about my KD!
I play this game for my enjoyment. I'm tired of being kicked from competitive teams BC I have under a 1.0 Here's the thing, I do stupid things in PvP because they are fun. I like to use horrible guns BC they're just fun.

I like to take the heavy and jump off the edge and hoard all the special. Gotta stay competitive.

Man. KD I feel is important for only certain characteristics of a PvP player. Yet I know about 75% of my friends list messed around year one and didn't really take it seriously. Communication and Attitude can also be taken into consideration when looking for a PvP candidate. But you can't only go off of KD.

Unfortunately there will always be kd crusaders trying to make up for what they lack in real life, or immature kids/adults that can only get by on an ego trip.

Everyone here knows what "I play for fun" really means. Don't tell yourself that you have to be on par with the best players; just try to improve at your own pace and don't let it eat at you when you run into those situations where your best isn't good enough. Hang in there.

I don't mind kd but I really dislike ELO. It drastically prevents me from playing trials with buddies who suck. It's all about the fun and I really shouldn't care about it - but on the flip side I get competitive with trials and going flawless where ELO matters to get a solid team.

1 RispondiThe fire team and small team matches comment is interesting as well. I have run crucible, iron banner , and trials with randoms for as long as the game has been out. I sit at a sad .08 K/D. I also try every weapon I can just to see if they are any good before I dismantle them. I really should pick one set up and go with it if I was to continue to play this game. My question is, will some of these K/D and ELO giants drop considerably if they spent a month alone in 6 vs 6 matches or Iron banner . If they went into trials with complete randoms. I'm curious how the stats would alter. I believe they would still stay toward maybe a 1.8 but not maintain a 3.0 or above. Just curious what the pvp players think. It's easy to say you would without actually trying it and really see how good you are. I bet a lot of players would be surprised by the results.

They try to tell us they don't care about K/D but they make a big point of putting it on our scorecards. If PRO players don't want to carry you, then they shouldn't play. Sometimes you have to carry people, thats called being a pal.
