I dont care about my KD!
I play this game for my enjoyment. I'm tired of being kicked from competitive teams BC I have under a 1.0 Here's the thing, I do stupid things in PvP because they are fun. I like to use horrible guns BC they're just fun.

19 RisposteGood for you... I always find these posts funny as it is always people with bad KDs posting that they dont care. I dont really care either but I still have a half decent KD. You know why? Because I kill more than I die(which really is not that hard even when using bad weapons). Which shows I can hold my own... If you were wanting to go flawless in trials and were looking for a random team to play with... Who would you pick to be on your team? A 0.7 KD or a 1.5 KD?

25 RisposteYeah every single post I've ever seen people say "I don't care about my kd." or "kd doesn't matter" they ALWAYS have all three characters with a below 1.0 kd. I get it though, it's either not care or cope with the fact you're terrible.

I'm just letting you know I didn't read your post. I read the title while scrolling and the first thing that came to mind was the thought of a fat person trying to convince themselves they're comfortable in their skin while having a donut and Diet Coke and considering enrolling in a gym.

People look at my kd and say oh you suck... We do challenge of elders and i never die and then they have to change their minds, i suck at crucible and i wasn't to good at other stuff but when they say your kd isnt good i say thats ok we will see what happens :) did this recently had a person say your kd is bad and i said ok we will see :)

I play independently without a fire team regularly. In every team there are roles to play and those roles differ with specific objectives and maps. My general observation is most players want the hero role and play little with the team [u]premise [/u]in mind. Bounties and other agendas out of the way, I play for the team win BUT it costs. I don't mind being the bunny on most occasions and and I am fiercely competitive and protect my KD whenever possible. This does not mean I throw KD out the window but I wont finish the race with 20 kills and a 20 KD - I will leave that to others that choose to contribute in other ways. I got invited to Trails a while back 'because you are sh!t' they said (something about matchmaking voodoo). Clutch a few wins for them and they haven't got much to say - Every dog has its day. 2 RisposteWell, it depends on what the situation is. I never really think that any gamemode in Destiny needs a truly competitive team because stats =/ skill =/ team synergy/effectiveness as a team. I see teams of 2.0+ KDs crumble simply because they don't play well together and teams of perhaps .8 KDs that go flawless like it's no sweat. However, not everybody enjoys losing and may have real-life responsibilities that may prevent them from wanting to take huge risks of remaining logged in for prolonged periods of time. Not that I think the flawless rewards from trials are that important tbh. This is also coming from a "good" player if that means anything to you.

I mean I get having fun and all but if you're tired of getting kicked from competitive teams because you weren't interested in competing and were just messing around, you have no right to complain. Stop joining competitive teams and just join teams that wanna just have fun like you.

Its perfectly reasonable for people to want to boot you for purposely using terrible weapons in events like trials and iron banana, big time for trials [spoiler]as fun as it would be to go flawless with khvostovs[/spoiler]

yeah, I play pvp just to have fun! I use NLB and starting to use the First Curse. I like the double sniper setup

If you don't care about your K/D, please get Overwatch and throw yourself at the objective with me. I keep on getting paired with 12 year old CoD players who hang back and never even set a foot in the objective zone...

I got a positive kd, but i still enjoy doing fun stuff, for example on my hunter yesterday i wore all bog wild with a green shader (camoflauge) then i went into inferno 6v6 and hid in a bush, or i just sat in plain sight, it was hilarious bcuz they didnt notice ;D
