I dont care about my KD!
I play this game for my enjoyment. I'm tired of being kicked from competitive teams BC I have under a 1.0 Here's the thing, I do stupid things in PvP because they are fun. I like to use horrible guns BC they're just fun.

2 RisposteThere's your problem, competitive teams play competitively, not casually. They will look at your stats because they have nothing else to go off of in regards to whether or not you will help or hinder them. They also have every right to do so, because they are the ones building the team, a team they fully intend to win with. They don't kick you to be dicks, or because they are elitists, they want to win. Your kd paints you in a negative light, since it's the only thing besides your word of mouth that you are skilled. It doesn't mean you aren't, and kd isn't everything, but when building a team from random people you don't know, you are going to generally find that people will go for the best looking players, based on their stats. I've found the best way to get around this (besides the obvious of raising your kd, which can be a pain) is to just find a good group of people and hold on to them. Try and build lasting friendships with people you meet that you like. I still play with a guy I met in a random skirmish match to this day, simply because they sent us gg mail after the game. I respect stuff like that a lot in this community of salt.

1 RispondiMy KD was 2.85 in year 1 The TTK landed and I had to use 10 other guns apart from my Thorn. Tbh it did me a favour. I was checking my KD after every night . It was taking over my Destiny experience. Now the game is -blam!-ing again. Well. Apart from the dogshit matchmaking with people from all over the world instead of people in the same country.

Those people who kick you are trying to do the best they can, so if they see someone with a low kd, they kick them. They assume that since you have a low kd, you're bad. Let's say that you're trying to do a raid on hard mode, and you have the choice between someone who's completed it and someone who's attempted it many times but has never beaten it. Who do you pick to ensure that you will win?

If im in Iron Banner i play my hardest, but on game modes that just need kills i do the same, i bring out the ice breaker or necrochasm for nostalgia. or use TLW hipfire only, that always makes thing interesting.

Just go berserk and rush with shotguns like I do) screw k/d and sniper camping crap. Plus all the tactics are gone after so many nerfs. Just be a pain in the ass and cherish the moments when you fist of havoc whole team camping on zone b in control)))

2 RisposteYou can play for fun, being kicked from competitive teams because you have worse stats than them is reasonable, the key is that they are not a [b]CASUAL[/b] team, but A [b]COMPETITIVE[/b] one. If you want to join a competitive team, get the items you need, I.E, a good KD, nobody is forcing you to play competitive, it a challenge for the more serious players. All in all, stop complaining, it makes perfect sense that you get kicked from [b]COMPETATIVE[/b] teams.

8 RisposteKA/D is a better example of how "average" you are at the game. If someone has a 1.0 K/D they are actually above average in PvP. People steal kills from you and vice versa.

Same. I couldn't care less and I'll use any gun I feel like. Still do pretty well tho. Here's a tip: don't try to join competitive teams if you don't want to play competitive and you don't have to whine anymore. Cause it sounds more as if you [i]want to[/i] play competitive, since you're LFGing that type of activities. Then you go on here and excuse the fact that you're a terrible player who can't listen to instructions or play in a team and therefore gets kicked with the fact that you're "just trying to have fun." If you really mean it, stop trying to join competitive fireteams and stop whining.

You can do stupid things and use weird weapons and still pull off a 1.0 KD.

6 RisposteI agree. There needs to be a Sweaty Lobby and a casual Lobby. If your KD is below 1.0, like me, then you are forced into the casual lobby. If it is 1.0 or above, the Sweaty lobby. Seems fair enough?
