Xbox one lacking story driven exclusives
It's a little disappointing that Microsoft seems to focus mainly on big multiplayer games. Sure they're fun, but I see games like Days Gone and The Last Of Us for the ps4 and it saddens me because they look like such amazing storyline focused games with amazing artwork and for an Xbox one owner like myself, I won't get to enjoy them as much :/

4 RisposteActually, this is the first time i thought about that. I am from Playstation. Yea, you have a bug point, and Naughty Dog is VERY good about their stories, but yea, idk why microsoft doesn't focus on story. I am also jealous of xbox cuz of multiplayer games like Halo, etc. I just wish the impossible : A super console, microsoft and sony come together so we could have Halo and Uncharted on the same console.

16 RisposteHalo is story driven, but Microsoft is just capitalizing on multiplayer, which is why Halo 5 sucks now. Gears of War's story has too many Plotholes and inconsistencies to be called a story, and the Fanbase only cares about multiplayer so it's too late to save Gears of War. I'll just wait for Borderlands 3... It's my last hope.

5 RisposteI enjoy Microsoft exclusives. I don't care for story driven games, I'd rather just watch a movie instead. Games are about fun for me, and gameplay is the biggest part for me. This is why I don't like tlou or any telltale games, I want to play the game, not watch cinematics with weak gameplay. Just my opinion. Story is a bonus for me, but as long as the gameplay is fun it's really all I care about. Does any of the new xbox exclusives look like it has a good story(Recore, scalebound, Forza horizon 3)? No. Do they look fun? Hell yes.

When you weight quality of games and number of games released they were probably the best studio of the previous generation. What they release tends to be synonymous with Playstation because their games are so acclaimed and so widely played. Why is Xbox the "multiplayer FPS" console? Because of Halo. There are exclusives that define consoles. Most think Nintendo games consist of Mario and Zelda and assume those represent all Nintendo games. There are Nintendo games that look nothing like conventional Nintendo games.
