Below are facts and nothing else. Lowest melee range out of any class. Situational super, but one shots everything. Can be killed while in animation. Grenade similar to tripmine. Cannot stick. 2-3 shot. Titan skating. (Edit. Arguablly done on warlock and hunter, awaiting results. Bones of eao agility builds are faster confirmed.) Reasonable melee and buff perks. (aftermath included) Shoulder charge one shot. Takes up a perk slot. Requires charge window, and can be killed easily with a shotgun or teamshot/ team melee. Requires awareness to counter. Good for inferno. These are facts. Unbiased, as i play all three classes. Make your choice. 150+ replies And 200+ votes. 250+ replies and unknown votes. Damn... 300+ replies. Lets see it reach max light! Over the light cap! 400+ replies :) Got over 600 while i was sleeping. Lets make bungie see this. 800+. Damn, only 10x less than 8000! 1000 posts !!! BUNGIE FINAL ASSESMENT: NO NERF NEEDED! Now bungie shouldnt nerf them. With over 300 votes, no nerf incoming.

  • Shoulder charge needs LOOKING at, mostly just the fact it has too much room for error on where and when you can use it. You -shouldn't- be able to slide in to a shoulder charge, that's a problem. Otherwise? Strikers are very balanced. Juggernaut shotgunners get irritating but after you've died once or twice to the same person, you quickly pick up their movement pattern and proceed to destroy them.

    • It doesn't feel like it, but Titan melee range is actually slightly [i]longer[/i] than Hunters'... grab some friends and test it in Rumble if you don't believe me.

      • If anyone says Strikers are op, they are an idiot. Only thing that needs tweaking is juggernaut idk if it can still tank a GG shot.

          • Gtfo, this is why I hate this community. Striker is a mid tier class but what people fail to take in to account is how easy it is to use. It needs changed because the abilities are to forgiving and make up too large of a skill gap. It's why firebolts got hit, it's why shadestep got hit, it's why thorn and the last word and stormtrance and hammers got hit. It is inevitably why strikers will get hit. Should it be nerfed, no. But it will be, and you all can only blame yourself, as you sit here and laugh at other classes being anally pillaged by bungie.

              I honestly don't give a f if they Nerf titans or not. I've mained a titan since before TDB and I won't stop now, regardless of whatever balancing patch comes next. Edit: I never run shoulder charge

                Striker and Voidwalker are honestly the most balanced subclass, any nerfs would make the classes useless and then we are going to get another Sunbreaker situation when Bungie throws on some neosporin on the 3rd degree burns it gave them.

                              • The facts you stated seem a bit biased, you didn't really say how great everything there is to offer. It seems like you're typing this in the sense that you think it's OP, but you're convincing yourself it isn't.

                                        No mention of Juggernaut, seriously? I'm beginning to suspect that Titan Mains are habitually oblivious to their strongest Perks/abilities because they're too busy coveting the other classes. Gift of the Void anyone? Strikers are fine. I've had tons of fun making Snipers salty with my Invective+Juggernaut build when I don't feel like Hunting and Space Magic(tm).

                                          I want 2 tweaks to the striker Titans. 1) The time between lightning grenades pulses extended a little. (.2 - .5 seconds) 2) The ability to turn 90 degrees using shoulder charge. (I will add I hadn't used striker since early taken King so don't know if it's been changed.)

                                            As a PvE-er, I'd say that they're completely overshadowed by voidwalkers. Why have fist of havoc when you could have a ranged fist of havoc, which is safer. [i]*proceeds to take self damage from nova bomb*[/i] Okay, fair point. But voidwalkers also have the energy drain build. What do strikers have for PvE? Nothing but a good time with the Peregrine Greaves.

                                            • I personally think they need Balance changes, mostly in terms of doing more damage outside of their super. I was originally going to type up this huge post on the subject but I see Metia actually summed up my point pretty well. Though I do need to mention, Fist of Havoc has a few weaknesses. there's a reason it has that nickname on the internet. you know what I mean. *Ahem* but still, used right, it's dangerous, just like everything in the right hands. Me with Blink in this game is like that. you literally won't even have two seconds to see my blip on your motion tracker and you'll get shotgunned down. and if you do, trying to hit me will not be easy. Fist of Havoc has a few ways it can be completely nullified. Shadestepping if you do it right as someone activates FoH will make you take NO damage. Blinking if you manage to get lucky and do it right BEFORE they activate will have the same effect, though you still take like 7% of your shield in chip from being right on the edge of the blast and coming out of your warp. I can't think of any others but I know a point blank shotgun to their face would also probably save you if they don't have the Damage reduction perk on (Can't think of its name right now) So, in summary, there's technically nothing in the game that ACTUALLY needs Nerfing. Not even the dreaded Hawkmoon or MIDA. if you get good enough with something else, like me with blink + Binary Dawn or Radiance + Radiant Skin + Telesto + Solar Grenades, you can stand your ground and counter anything with relative ease. And if all else fails, grab a Hawkmoon and MIDA yourself. There's a reason people use them, they're powerful. *Holding Aces/Troll Smasher intensify* "Eyes up, Guardian. Ghost said that to me, once.
