I was trying to do s quick raid with my boyfriend and his friend but the team leader kicked us. Where is there a button for discrimination?
Has anyone been in a similar situation before?

2 RisposteDespite what a lot of players may think or claim, it does occur that people will kick based on gender. There are many who don't, but the idiots who think it doesn't happen or think that the issue is worthy of ridicule are just idiots. I have not been kicked for being female however I have left raids because we wiped several times and the fireteam leader kept blaming the female player even though she was always in the top 3. Some people want to play that way, I don't, so I left. People get kicked for gender, for being squeakers, in the old days for not having ghorn or ice breaker. Most of the time it seems that if a fireteam leader really sucks they will find someone to blame and kick them. Since the players are not employers as someone else pointed out and not government officials there is no button for discrimination and ultimately there probably shouldn't be. There is however the ability to report people for essentially being unsporting. Not playing fair, being unfriendly etc. If you, or anyone, gets kicked for any reasons that are not 'on the board'. As in not based on k/d, not based on player efficacy. You probably should report the fireteam leader. If you, or anyone, gets kicked without an explanation. You probably should report the fireteam leader. People being kicked should be given the opportunity to know what the issue or seeming issue is. If for no other reason than so they can improve as players or learn how to better work as a team. There should be an etiquette with which players play in a co-op multiplayer. If they fail to uphold this etiquette they should be reported. And finally player preference is an issue. When reporting you must not only consider why something is done but also how it is done. For instance, 5 players are getting ready for a raid and 1 new person joins without invite because that new person was on someones friends list. Happens all the time, no big deal. But if the fireteam leader politely asks that person to leave (regardless of reason or even without reason) that person should leave and not report anyone because those 5 players should have the freedom to play within their preferred parameters. If in this same situation the person who joins is 12 years old and the fireteam leader says 'hey (name) some other time we would do the raid with you but this time we want to keep it 18+'. It is still discrimination (ageism) however was it polite? Did it contribute to maintaining both the preference of the players AND the dignity and respect owing to other human beings? In my opinion it did. So we are balancing a lot of social issues when dealing with a multiplayer co-op which can be difficult. It does not help that a lot of people are basically selfish little idiots who just want to feel important.

2 RisposteModificato da PSD: 6/18/2016 10:39:36 PMI got kicked once for being human. Please do not take anything serious on xbox live. It's a social space but revolved around gaming. I'm pretty sure you did not get kicked for being being a girl. Besides, why do you care so much about one raid team? There are millions of people playing destiny. Just look for a chill group.

That's weird. Usually guys hear a girl's voice and get pretty friendly/thirsty.

5 RisposteThe dames of destiny is a great clan. They are completely against discriminations and will be a great resource for you to find quality raiders. If you are on Xbox one, add me, I'll help when I can.

2 RisposteAre you sure your team got kicked because you are a girl?
-
7 RisposteI was the one who kicked you. It had nothing to do with your gender. I heard the N word several times and what sounded like a razor on a mirror followed by deep nasal inhalations.

Oh darn

Change your sex ezpz

2 RisposteDid they tell you that it was because you were a girl? I've been kicked in the past, either because (1) I didn't know what I was doing in a raid and I loused everyone up (that's why I avoid raids now) or (2) They had 2, needed 3, and wound up with 4 because of a double-join. If they DID do it because you were female, well who'd want to play with anyone so utterly pathetic?

2 RisposteIf it was a kid who kicked you, I wouldn't be surprised. If it was a man, I would be pretty disappointed

5 RisposteI got kicked for being bad at a raid, and I'm choosing to blame it on my gender. -OP

3 RisposteThis post is such a ninja trap. Clearly, OP is a friend of a ninja and worked together to create a post to b8 all those with sexist comments just so the ninja could ban them and met their quota before they get removed from the ninja program. Don't fall for it!

4 RisposteIf they kicked you, your boyfriend, and friend, then how is it discrimination

Modificato da SERAPH-X7: 6/18/2016 10:25:46 PMSo the fireteam leader kicked multiple people including you, how is this discrimination? Did he specifically call you out and then kick those people too? I sense a plot hole...

Dang for a stupid person like you I'm surprised you haven't had enough.
