They acted as stickies for TWO YEARS. They have stuck to everything and everyone has been ok with it for so long, and now that bungie says that "that's not how they were intended to be used." Everybody is suddenly ok with it? That's bullshit, and you all know it, if they weren't intended to work like that they would have changed them a month after release. Not to mention that they actually took skill/luck to stick to people because they had NO AIM ASSIST.
Okay I'm sorry for the confusing title. I'm basically saying that if it's supposed to be a trap then there shouldn't be such a huge indicator of where it's been placed, that's all I'm saying

2 RisposteWell we all know who used them as stickies.... Seriously though, do people have to complain about every update?
-
1 RispondiThey still stick to pve enemies. Mine did last night anyhow
-
I nominate funniest title for the week. Lol
-
Sticking them on random places on the map you are playing on is the best way..i get more kills with them that way then what i do when i try and stick people

I'm just gonna wait till the expansion drops and enjoy playing that PvE content. At this point I'm officially done with PvP. So many unnecessary changes...
-
Agreed. Another stupid Nerf.
-
It's their favorite BS line to use. They said the same shit with Gjallarhorn before they nerfed it.
-
Not even gonna lie I haven't even read the post yet but i love it already and personally I hate hunters but yea for 2 years they've stuck not a big deal why remove
-
I use them as traps
-
2 RisposteFunny enough, I'm completely OK with them not sticking to people anymore. The thing I'm not too happy over is their damage nerf.
-
Modificato da mus: 6/16/2016 1:03:10 PMI'm ok with the no sticky nerf but the damage nerf makes it impossible to kill a full health guardian. I also find myself in many situations where my throwing knifes should've killed before the patch. And apparently they nerf the burn damage on incendiaries. Swarms are still shit. I'm sad
-
2 RisposteNot even a hunter but his logic is sound. Logic bump
-
Bungie had too much horniness for their nerf hammer...
-
I can agree to that for sure. But they changed it and that's that. Maybe in the future they'll at least up the damage of Trip Mines. Because now, no matter what, anyone can spec armor and survive any trip mine all day long. So now trip mines are one of the 3 grenades that can't one shot somebody in any circumstance. (Others being flashbang and suppressor)
-
Actually, I agree with this. They give a medal for it, it is natural gaming inclination to think they stick. As mentioned, they stuck for years. Now all of a sudden everyone wants to act like they have been on board since alpha with a tripmine nerf. If you have any positive or negative feelings about trips you probably just started feeling that way because they have never really been discussed in regards to balance. While I dont agree with the buff everything faction of doofi, this is a case where they should have made the other GG grenades viable. Trip was ok and needed nothing. Swarm was a joke and incendiary was average.

6 RisposteDon't use Gunslinger in PvP. Problem solved. Nightstalker cancels supers and Bladedancer can go invisible and backstab/get close to use arc blade.
-
Agree if it's a trap lose the stupid beacon
-
You're right about them being used as stickies. But if they weren't traps then they wouldn't keep front detonating either until an enemy crosses their path or the time runs out man. That's why it's called a TRIPmine man, because, metaphorically anyway, people trip over the trap that you set.
-
-
Lol. I love how it suddenly now was not intended to be a sticky even though you get a medal for sticking someone with one. Well you use to get a medal for it.
-
All I wanna say is... The red light on the grenade is for the people who would bitch that it's way too OP if you can't see it
-
BUNGIE REPLY!
-
1 RispondiEven traps have tells - the fact that this tell is bright red and pulses 7 ft high and ppl still run into it makes it 'hidden' enough for kills . No need to change any further . Also everyone has stuck a suicider - you know the guy with the shotgun ;and blows yourself up when you stick a red cone on his forehead
-
2 RisposteOk don't make it stick to players but can we at least get one that will while using Gunslinger
-
It's become glaringly obvious that Bungie feels the Hunter subclass in general shouldn't be around.
