They acted as stickies for TWO YEARS. They have stuck to everything and everyone has been ok with it for so long, and now that bungie says that "that's not how they were intended to be used." Everybody is suddenly ok with it? That's bullshit, and you all know it, if they weren't intended to work like that they would have changed them a month after release. Not to mention that they actually took skill/luck to stick to people because they had NO AIM ASSIST.
Okay I'm sorry for the confusing title. I'm basically saying that if it's supposed to be a trap then there shouldn't be such a huge indicator of where it's been placed, that's all I'm saying

2 RisposteModificato da Invalid: 6/17/2016 6:43:36 PMA tripmine is a trap... The red light acts as its tripwire. A mine by itself is a trap. You step on it, you go boom. End of story.

7 RisposteGoogle "tripmine" and tell me what the first thing that shows up is. I'll wait.
I'm also impatient.

It's a red. glowing. laser.
-
2 RisposteI hope you know what a Tripmine actually is.
they don't stick to people
-
3 RisposteIt's not a beacon, you knob! It's a sensor for the tripmine, which activates and goes off when someone steps in front of it.
-
3 RisposteYou really brought up a point of it not having aim assist. I want any hunter to be 100% honest and tell me how hard it was to stick people with a tripmine. It was not hard at all. I use my hunter more than the other two and i personally feel like the nerf was needed. Tripmines were a two in one grenade. One of the ways had to go. It wouldnt make much sense if the trap function was taken off of a trap, so the stick had to go. I normally used them as trap for people to be lured into, so i guess im just used to using them as intended. Ive still been one hitting guardians in the crucible with a placed tripmine. Even if the guardian survives you literally need one shot to kill him.

5 RisposteIf they can stick to walls why can't they stick to people?
-
2 RisposteGoogle the word tripmine and look at the first image you see. Go on, I'll wait.
-
2 RisposteAnd yet people run through them all the time...
-
2 RisposteYou're right... there not "traps" they're mines.... -blam!-ing retard
-
For many YEARS horses acted as the primary means of transportation. Now we have vehicles. Change isn't so bad. Embrace it young grasshopper
-
They were the highest damaging grenades to a single target when stuck and this just messed them up for pve
-
3 RisposteStill, it's nice not being stuck by them from random throws
-
1 RispondiClaymore are traps and the have red lazers that shoot out of them.
-
Also because they don't stick they've become absolutely useless in PVE
-
Whoever said they were traps. Quit getting technical with it is a -blam!-ing video game.
-
Never said they were good traps did we?
-
It's all these new year 2 players ruining everything for us
-
Bacon trap... Mmm...
-
2 RisposteI really don't like what they did to trip mines and throwing knifes. My build was always 2 trip mines and 2 throwing knifes with max strength and discipline. The update ruined my FIGHTING STYLE !
-
How bout you shut up and deal with it
-
My problem is that the enemy can still escape after triggering it
-
13 RisposteIt's a trap you dunce. Play the game and stfu!

Ya they need to remove the giant red flashing sign that says "DONT WALK HERE IM A TRIPMINE" that and they should just make it stick again but hey what do i know
