Advice: DON'T PRE ORDER RISE OF IRON
I know they are offering a y3 ghorn. But they are just trying to milk money away from everyone. Again. Also this ghorn should be for everyone, not just pre order.
Remember when everyone pre ordered destiny and they cut out content because they made all the money they needed? Yeah I remember that too. Remember when everyone pre-ordered the expansion pass and they cut content again and what was promised in the game? Yeah I remember too. Remember when everyone pre ordered ttk and they still haven't released half the exotics they advertised? Yeah I remember that too. That's the big deal. When bungie sees they made their money back they cut content.
I hope the community has learned their lesson from bungies history.
Edit: for all you people saying "don't tell me how to spend my money" you're either not reading the actual post or you're literally indoctrinated by bungie. I have never seen someone promise so many things and then fall short everytime and people still believe them. It's amazing.

So far in hearing 3 arguments:
1) don't tell me what to do with my money. Okay, fair enough, but you ought to think about my point rather than just react, because bungie has a history of under delivering and it's going to happen again if you guys aren't careful.
2) I'm going to get it might as well pre order. I encourage you to wait until the last night, before they can cut out content again.
3)that people say they spend enough time to make it worth the money. Yes I agree. My only issue is with false advertising and cut content. [/spoiler]

1 RispondiYes bungie cut content, and I'm sure "some" was for money, but the majority of their "cut" content was due to having to rewrite the story because someone came in and said last minute ( about a year out) they didn't like how the game was being delivered. So they had to essentially start over. With every update and new release I believe they've taken steps forward and will continue to do so. TTK was awesome. I've been very satisfied. I will pre order about a week out.

Hahaha but I want the black one. Really? Geez. It's a rocket launcher you'll barely ever use. Video games are becoming about cosmetics. I have one friend who spent $22 million of the total $27 million he had in gta on car upgrades and paint jobs. Only had 3 cars. He would spend hours in the garage buying colors. Now in the division, everytime he gets anything he stands still for about 10 minutes looking at it, then the stats, then the attachments. Like God damn just play the game. Like I'm going to make a commitment to something because I get a black version of something. Are you 5. We played vog year 2 just to get freaking shaders. And when I told him that's all I got, after playing about 16 hours trying to beat it, he says, ya but it's a freaking sweet shader. I almost committed murder. I wanted to kill him. He knew I'd get nothing worth it, and he just wanted the shader. After wards he asked to do it again so he could get the ship. Jesus christ. A ship. Torture yourself for an aspect of the gane that doesn't even help you.

I agree with not preordering but the gjally is for everyone, and everyone will have to quest for it, including those who pre ordered. There will be a lot of tears on here that day.

If I preorder it will be the day before it comes out, personally I want to see what happens in terms of all the info that comes to light before release. Following that I might not preorder and instead wait for community feed back. Yes iron Ghorn but like with any preorder bonus it will most likely be good at the beginning but suck later on. Wouldn't surprise me if they lock the weapon at a fixed light.

Don't really want to spend my day off waiting for a download to finish if it can be done ahead of time (I typically have Tuesdays off from work). Don't give two -blam!-'s about gjallarcrutch. It's gonna get sharded as soon as it hits my inventory, or the quest abandoned. I haven't decided yet. This would also be true if I didn't preorder. Oh and don't tell people how to spend their money. It never goes over well.

Ill order when i have more information. Average time to get through story content. Will they bring back old armour and weopon sets to new light levels. Which would be awsome. And old content revamped to new levels. Hopefully the game gets bigger not smaller with the expansion. Also i dont think the gally will be anything like its former self. Ill be aueprised if anyone is using it beyond the first week or so.

Please do your research before posting. The pre order is only for a special skin, everyone can get the gjallahorn through a quest in rise of iron.
