That's when I realized what it was. [spoiler]There was no noises at all. The forest was dead quiet.[/spoiler] Then I heard what sounded like a large something moving around 10 yards or so from me. Needless to say, that is easily the most terrifying noise you can possibly hear while unarmed miles from civilization.
