Seriously this is a sniper with max stability, field and freaking third eye! It has a great scope, good aim assist, handles amazingly, and invisibility makes it harder to get headshot by long range counter snipers, I should be every sniper's dream!
I honestly didn't expect this to get so big, nice to see different opinions on the gun!
Loving the creative post here.
I should take the time to acknowledge that I'm a hardscoping sniper (scrubby yes I know) and I am basing the feel of the scope and handling on that.
-
Handling, draw and stow time is very slow. The weapon feels very heavy and clunky. Year 1 was different when there weren't very many snipers.
-
3 RisposteGreat scope? For what? Stationary edge of the map sniping, aka camping? Sorry m8, but that sniper is shit in my opinion and for my playstyle. It has all the benefits of being a irl sniper, but in Destiny a mobile sniper is the norm and it handles and feels awful if you wanna be a fast movement sniper.
-
Ew that gun is meh
-
I hear the zoom time is horrid. Which is sad it was my favorite sniper year one
-
2 RisposteDoes no one remember the "Custom Optics" node they added in year one for a lower zoom? In my opinion that makes the weapon pretty bearable to use.
-
I used to love this sniper rifle, but the zoom is way too powerful for my tastes, and the scope in time is absolutely horrific. It takes up an exotic slot where a legendary can do just about everything it can do (minus Third eye) if not better. I'd much rather spend that slot with an exotic that's actually worth having. It hurts to say that, but I really with custom optics actually DID something to the blasted scope. Like at least bringing it down to x5 and upping the scope in time at a sacrifice of less reserve ammo. As it stands, if you're going for an exotic sniper rifle, Hereafter is superior in just about every single way IMHO.

12 Risposte
It has a great scope
Yeah.... I wouldn't call 7x zoom a great scope
-
People used it a lot year one. Some of the maps in TDB were well suited for long range killers like that gun.
-
1 RispondiBecause it's exotic perk is to make you invisible while still showing a bright freaking laser. I could care less about stats tbh.
-
I died to it the other night in IB. :)
-
Stop talking. Now.
-
6 RisposteScope is really zoomed in and it takes your exotic
-
1 RispondiI can't use it and Hawkmoon at the same time.
-
15 Risposte1000 Yard Aim Assist.
-
Used it a lot in year one because no one ever told me about scope glare so I just thought that I was truly invisible. Got many good kills with it but I don't really snipe much anymore. Just carry a long range scout like Saterienne Rapier
-
11 RisposteBecause the 1000 Yard Scrub still exists. The aim assist is ridiculous and they've got one with Hidden Hand you've got no chance of them taking their sweaty palms off it to try something else.
-
ATTENTION: DONT USE FIELD SCOUT! use the middle perk scope zoom. its gives the gun a shorter zoom, but widens the scope to give you a better field of view. It has hands down the best scope, even better than Defiance of Yasmin
-
It's good, but so are other legendaries
-
My eirene regens ammo casting my super... other wise I go for P&T
-
8 RisposteBecause everyone is using the mida "skill-less" tool. Smh. Pure tragedy that so many people have to use such a weapon that is geared towards helping a nOOb enter the crucible for the first time. Soooooo many scrubs.
-
I personally think that its too clunky for me. The ADS speed is REALLY slow, and it feels all around clunky to me.
-
The scope is not the best. I like herafter more because it's more like a halo style sniper.
-
1 RispondiSame with NLB. That thing is incredible if you actually practice with it...

I just got this gun two days ago and I have to say that I love it in PvP. I couldn't ask for anything better.
-
I faced a full team using it in Skirmish.
