Seriously I'm tired of all these subclass and weapon buff/nerfs that completely mess with pve players
Why should misty pve players like myself have to deal with all the pvp nerfs? Shotguns in pve while before weren't entirely the best, but they were still usable, see a fallen captain? Run up with a shotgun and he's gone. Now I have to be within melee range and usually barely scrape by or just get wrecked.
Pve players shouldn't have to deal with the "weapon balances" and nerfs when they weren't the ones asking for them. Bungo really should give pve players some love every once in a while. Took away our nightfall loot for what reason?
They make grinding more and more tedious.
Don't even get me started about all the ascendant energy farmed in year 1 that are completely obsolete now.
It doesn't make any sense why should pve players have to use the same weapons as pvp players bc every other gun that used to be good in pve now sucks because pvp players were complaining?
EDIT -----
I'm seeing a lot of comments, more than I expected, and it allows me to see the two general sides to destiny. The pvp players and the pve players. And since there's two different types of players and, well, their play type. That's why it doesn't make any sense as to why crucible changes should directly affect pve changes, because if someone uses a weapon/archetype in pvp they're generally going to use the weapon differently than someone using the same type in pve. Mostly because AI and actual player which is the biggest and obvious gap between these two. And because of the AI and Player differences, which makes both game types be played completely different than each other it doesn't make any sense as to why they should be connected with buffs/nerfs
Supers kind of suck in pve because they were patched in pvp
Remember at launch when bladedancer was everywhere in pvp and some in pve? It got nerfed
It's grenades got nerfed big time
I'm not saying it's bad in pvp but it's godawful in pve
Only good against tier 1 enemies but practically anyone else takes away more than half of the super
That doesn't seem pretty super does it?
Same goes with sunbreaker however a nerd was needed in pvp, it wasn't really needed at all in pve it was a good super
But again all of this is just my opinion. I love hearing what you guys think

1 RispondiIt's a pvp game bro. Still- every single nerf and weapon left behind crushes the game but by bit. They don't care now anyway about destiny one. If you buy destiny two after the way PVE has been -blam!-ed over you're not really paying attention.
-
1 RispondiIf we would like all the nerfing to stop and some actual balance, bungie would need to give everyone the same generic weapons as starting loadouts. The same scoutrifle, the same auto, the same handcannon, the same sniper, same shotgun etc. to pick from. Similar to halo 4. This is literally the only way we will see it happen because we all know they will not separate pvp and pve changes again like they did with shotguns.
-
Because Bungie has to many lazy idiots to put proper coding in, to separate the two.

Modificato da H_TOWN_BALLA_80: 5/31/2016 3:35:48 PMDon't worry, I heard through the grapevine we'll be getting another much needed nerf to revive and ammo capacity. That should pretty much fix everything. Now if they could just nerf my sparrow, way too OP on the big maps and yes, this is a reasonable nerf request because I say so. People don't realize that nerfs are GOOD for them. Fuqn scrubs, jeez. Also, heavy weapons should just be removed from the game, derp. God, it's so cheap having anything more than a primary and sniper. Please Bungie, remove heavy weapons from the game period, especially from crucible, that shit REALLY makes my pee-pee hurt when someone gets a cheap kill from a heavy weapon. If it's not a sniper or primary, you didn't earn it. #sarcasm

9 RisposteReason: PVP gets more publicity Look at any game franchise, youtube twitch any platform. It's public promotion is dictated by the amount of content produced. What is massive on the side of PVP. Now look at any game that is only solo player, hardly any content compared to pvp. Good example Armoured Core 4/FA Vs Dark Souls Both are primarily pve/co-op games (If you say otherwise you are wrong). However DS has a massive pvp content that makes it appear to be popular. This is an issue as solo play might actually outnumber pvp but it gets no publicity so is ignored. Companies tailor to the pvp grounds as it brings in free advertising to their game. Even if how easy it is to set up a game that separates pve and pvp stats e.g. AC4/FA OR Mass Effect 3. They choose not to because laziness and the agenda of not wanting to do so as the PVE is such a low focus/priority in a time rushed deadline state publishers push on dev teams. Even if they built it ground up would be a far better game for all. They don't

10 RisposteBecause all the crybabies in pvp can't handle being killed, it's that simple , pvp is the most broken game mode in current existence , and destiny tried to make it an e sport. Nobody purchased destiny for the pvp everyone purchased it for Pve
-
19 RispostePvE? Wait, is that sarcasm? Let me check: * Run instances/strikes in 10 minutes jumping above enemies to kill the last boss; * Grind mindless AI mobs in Prison? * 3 or 4 types of enemies available? * Raid with 4 bosses, what usually is a normal instance in other games and raids with 12/13 bosses? * Unskilled tactics and glitch abuse (ex: gorgoroth)? * Overpowered weapons (ex: Malice) required for enconters because normal weapons aren't good enough? Well... Is that what you call the supreme PvE experience? Thats for sure for skilled players ;) If it wasn't PvP the game would be dead a long time.... Go back to farming instances 200 times for a crap drop... good luck...
-
I mainly pvp now, simply because of the content we currently have. I miss my shotguns melting enemies in pve. Other than that, none of the changes have really changed my pve gameplay. Pve is extremely easy in this game and very forgiving.
-
OMG FFS just shut the -blam!- up about everything, they dont listen they dont care they have your money now its just about time logged on the servers & nothing more,-blam!-ing idiots keep making posts about how much things suck, yeah everybody knows but guess what, the only people that can do anything about it have told you & the community many times that youre wrong & that bungie knows best they know what you want not you. -blam!-ing idiots just stop banging your heads against the wall.

6 RisposteModificato da Darches: 5/28/2016 1:05:52 AMSince PvE and PvP are identical in terms of combat they can be balanced together. It's even EASIER to have success with non-meta weapons in PvE. Keep crying about the (needed) nerfs, the salt makes me strong.
-
8 RisposteI disagree. I love the weapon variety that we have. The only thing that would make it better is the ability to add and remove elemental damage to primary weapons in the same way we do with chroma.
-
3 RisposteHonestly the PVE nerfs didn't do to much except for MG. Then again I started using the Sleeper so I don't even care for MG anymore

-
Modificato da TheKungLao: 5/29/2016 3:14:21 PMI've played an equal amount of both PvE and PvP and I see no reason why they can't be treated as two separate entities. Bungie proved they could seperate the two with the damage buff to PvE shotguns during the House of Wolves .
-
10 RisposteLet me lay it out for everyone.... Pve players want power and progression. Pvp players want balance, even at the cost of some nerfs. Those two things CANNOT BE DONE IN THE SAME CONTEXT OR GAME. Therefore it pits pve against pvp and not only that but its community members against each other. One is calling the other crybabies. That fact is, both sides are being true to their desired game style. It's not pvp' fault. It's not pve's fault. It's bungie's fault for not separating the two and forming a rift between the players. For this alone, they should separate the game into pve and pvp. They see the posts and debates between the two. The arguments and name calling....it's because of them that we have this rift in the community.
-
Been saying this since the original mytho nerf. Separate them completely in Destiny 2 please
-
Dude this has been happening since day 1 pve has always seen the negative effects of pvp it sucks. But bungie won't separate the weapon stats from pve and pvp. Probably because it may cause them extra work.
-
because bungie wants their prevalence and what they suck at to be on par, they cant make a rpg pve experience so they rely on their broken pvp to mitigate it.
-
Bungie is lazy and incompetent.
-
37 RisposteYou can use whatever weapon you want to in PvE, as its much easier than PvP. I will never understand the type of people who make these sort of post. You blame PvP for everything as if a game isn't going to get rebalanced without PvP.
-
8 RisposteAt least they are doing something to a two year old game most companies don't even make something for thier game 6 months after they came out. Take cod for expamle you call that dlc my mobile game deos more dlc than that every week and a new game next year shows how much that company cares about thier game.
-
60 RisposteI find it funny how destiny is a game mainly made for PvE, a game that debuted as an adventure where you, along with some friends, must explore the solar system and purge the darkness, yet now bungievision mostly gives to the crucible players
-
Bungie needs to either separate Pvp from Pve or Pvp needs to have set weapons for Pvp. I've heard over and over that Pvp is for skilled players, well if that's true then they should be able to go flawless or win at crucible with ANY weapon, not just the small selection of meta weapons that everyone uses in trials and crucible. It's not fair to keep screwing over Pve players, to keep nerf headers happy!!
-
they just need to get rid of pvp... its just a halo rip off thats not fun and i only go in to crucible to do quests or bounties or to get iron banner/trials gears... ive never just played it for fun coz it sucks... crucible is just there to please the long time bungie fans who love halo arena multiplayer. if they wanna do pvp in destiny then they need to look at the division's dark zone for inspiration.

2 RisposteModificato da Sarren36: 5/28/2016 7:25:08 PMYou, like so many others in this forum, have a poor memory of the justifications behind bungie's weapon tuning. Let's just go over one of the examples you posted, shotguns. Is was actually their effectiveness in PvE that was to blame for the changes you're referring to. "The PVE boost to Shotguns in 1.1.1 was significant, and since then we’ve seen groups of Guardians gang up with their boom sticks and trivially roll through some pretty tough PVE encounters. The reward of gut blasting a hulking enemy is super sweet, but that close-quarters action could benefit from a slight reduction in outgoing damage." How much do you miss shot package in PvE really? That's the change made for the sake of PvP, not the reduction in damage. Bungie - Destiny Weapon Tuning 2.0 (https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/13147/7_Destiny-Weapon-Tuning-20) Admittedly Bungie could be doing a better job, but you're greatly exaggerating the situation. Seriously, does no one read the patch notes?

I happen to agree.
