So Cheaters have cost us the Iron Banner & Trials
According to the lastest news from Bungie today there will be no TOO this week and no IB next week because a bunch of jerks found a way to cheat with Rocket Launcher ammo. And they are not going to ban them either. Once again a small group of selfish idiots ruin other peoples enjoyment of Destiny.

Dude it's no problem at all so what if we don't have trails for the weekend it's not going anywhere same with iron banner. If we miss one we'll just get it again and it's not a certain group of people's fault that they find these glitches trust me. I find way more stupider glitches that can be used in crucible it's just this game is not perfect. And there is going to be glitches and problems in a game that why games are not perfect. Just enjoy the ride and don't complain as much bungie is trying and I'll give them that for once. So as long as we can help fix and point out to bungie it's all good and no one is to blame.

5 RispostePersonally, I think there's a difference between using a glitch in the game and "cheating." And no, I've never used this glitch, and wasn't even aware it existed before today. I just don't think doing something like this counts as "cheating."

6 RisposteNo. A game-breaking glitch found by the community is what canceled ToO and IB. And it's potentially for one weekend, so calm down. You'll be fine going a weekend without Trials. It's not the end of the world. And catching cheaters isn't as easy as people think it is. It doesn't just happen out of thin air. There has to be anti-cheat systems DESIGNED to detect such cases. That shit takes resources to create.

1 RispondiHaven't used or planned to use this glitch. They ruined my fun by canceling trials so I'm going to do nothing but use this glitch all weekend. Sorry if you play me but I don't give a -blam!-. Bungie -blam!-ed up.

1 RispondiAll that Bungie needs to do is take this situation and turn it into an [b]example[/b]. Wide spread week long PVP restrictions for all those who fire 6+ rockets in a crucible match. Since heavy drops only ONCE now and the most you can get is 4 rockets (maybe 6 legitimately with clown cartridge?). Just because that a glitch exists that doesn't mean you have to use it to attempt to ruin the experience of others. Step the -blam!- up Bungie and do it. People are going to step up and say "but the devs put it in the game so they shouldn't be banned!". No. here's why that's wrong. I can go out in the world and steal a car, stab someone, or commit a crime simply because the TOOLS TO COMMIT THE CRIME EXIST, however, just because the ability or tools exist to commit a crime doesn't mean that I have to do it. This glitch, shadowshot, ashes to assets, and unlimited hammers all should have resulted in some sort of consequence for those who did it. If Bungie would take the bull by the -blam!-ing horns and grant temporary restrictions to show that it's not acceptable to use the glitches just because they exist, in a competitive atmosphere then next bug we discover will be brought to their attention and maybe, just maybe they won't have to cancel events because people tempted to use them know that they have the balls and WILL restrict them for using them in a competitive setting. If they don't learn from the first time, add a week to it for cheating in trials and then 3rd time you're out. Teaches people not to think there are no consequences for their actions and everyone else keeps their events.

yea too bad i'm off Daddy duty this weekend and wanted to try and get to the light house for the first time, some of the only grimoire i have left to gather... oh well, another weekend perhaps... :(

They need to ban glitch exploiters period. While they are taking their time to resolve this issue through coding, these jerks are going to be free to wreak havoc in normal crucible play until it is resolved.

A temporary solution that others suggested would be to just remove heavy ammo or disable the perk or perk causing the problem. Then spend as much time needed to fix it.

15 RisposteI haven't come across a single person doing the rocket glitch in 3 days. And I've played a lot lol. It's not even worth doing. Heavy just needs to be removed from trials anyways

It's a exploit that some players discovered, which is a good thing. I'd rather bungie fix things and suspend certain game modes to make those corrections. I believe YOU would prefer them to fix ALL exploits as well. Rather a fair fight than losing every round in ToO/IB.

Just seen my CoE rocket launcher "The Nightmare" has life support, javelin and... Clown cartridge. Never has a name felt more apt.
