So Cheaters have cost us the Iron Banner & Trials
According to the lastest news from Bungie today there will be no TOO this week and no IB next week because a bunch of jerks found a way to cheat with Rocket Launcher ammo. And they are not going to ban them either. Once again a small group of selfish idiots ruin other peoples enjoyment of Destiny.

They ate up your K/D. They stole your fun. No, my analogy is fine. Edit 2: Some people are too dumb to understand analogies. None of these analogies are about stealing. They are about doing the right thing even when someone makes it very, very easy for you to do the wrong thing. Pay attention.

This glitch is not what's ruining the enjoyment of the game. It's the fact that there's no new content. ever.

I love all these people saying exploiting a glitch is not cheating. Cheating is breaking the general rules to provide for yourself an advantage over other competitors. I don't think that exploiting a glitch should be ban worthy, because it is a combination of Bungie's coding and players' malice that has put players in this situation. Make no mistake though, if it is accepted that Heavy should only be attainable through a crate at regular infrequent intervals, and someone discovers a way to circumvent that rule, it will skew the results favorably toward that player and unfavorably towards others. Technically speaking, that is cheating. It's not like players are innocently stumbling onto this method with no knowledge of how the Crucible normally plays. They know full well they are using a method that gives them an unfair advantage. Again, I'm not pro ban. They only had access to this method because of an oversight from Bungie's dev team.

I'd feel sorry for the gamer who has the weapons that cause the glitch in question, as their only weapons in their respective slots, and they'd receive a ban in this kind of scenario. I dunno, bans are not the answer to everything. I'll support one regarding abuse for personal gains, but not for accidental triggers. There is way too fine a line that you need to be aware of when dealing with bannings. Personally I'd disable Clown Cartrige, cancel trials and use IB for data gathering purposes, but that's just my take on this.

well, two hours ago i wasnt even aware about the ammo glitch ( i am too much of a pve player) decide to jump into crucible, got a missile to the face on the minute the match began, it is kinda sad that they have to resort to these dirty táctic just to win a match, imagine this now on trials, stopping trials before this went overboard was a good call, im sure they will have this fixed up by the end of the week or month depending how complicaded the code is.

Wow some you guys don't think that hacking yours servers to win on iron & trials isn't worthy of a ban and plus these chumps who have done this just ruin the game for everyone they should be banned for good. It just confirms to me that bungie have made destiny for the so called elites and vast majority well they don't matter. I met a few in iron banner in theirs fire teams and boy they are crap. So sorry lads if you caught cheating you should be punished and for bungie not to tells them go on chosen ones we support you. Boy this game is becoming shite.

Highland you will find out that it isn't a small majority but huge amount of people on iron banner and trials that still cheat like hell. The lags is just unbelievable, plus I did notice the other night a few guys rounding blasting with rockets and wondered like hell where's all the ammo from. Didn't stop me though they still lost but it's not a small portion but rather huge chunk that cheat. I don't because I rather earn what I get and if I don't get it then try again when the events come around.
