12 RisposteThe America I grew up in was great (80's/90's kid). The current state of our country is not so great at all. -We are forced to buy health insurance. Love having shit forced down my -blam!-ing throat. My budget has adjusted and I'm able to afford it, but it's the fact that it should be an option, not forced. -When I was a kid not everyone went to college. Now a days everybody HAS to go to college? FOR FREE?That's stupid. I know plenty of people that are currently making a great living without college. -Race relations are absolutely terrible right now. Every time I turn on the news it's some bullshit about race. Everything and everyone is racist. There is no tolerance anymore. -We pander to every single minority group like they are 97% of population. If you are gay, just be gay. If you are transgendered, just be that. All these minorities just need to STFU and be who they are without all the bitching. All this pandering is confusing the -blam!- out of our kids. -Government is too big. Needs to get their greedy hands out of our SS and retirement money. -America is further in debt than it has ever been. -We can't pledge allegiance or pray in schools anymore for the sake of offending some minority. -There are more mass shootings and bombings now than ever. -Our soldiers get blown the -blam!- up in a foreign country and our government covers it up. -Our borders need to be closed. There are too many people in this country. -All these welfare programs are bleeding the country dry. It doesn't matter who is the next president. This country is too far gone to be saved. These are the end times for US. Trump will only help to slow down the destruction, but it's only a matter of time before all hell breaks loose. Mark my words.

2 RisposteThere is no GREAT country. Every single one has its own issues. Media just likes to make Americas issues more known.

3 RisposteTrump is running a fear campaign. He's basically saying "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE IF YOU GUYS DON'T ELECT ME". The way I see it at least.
-
Modificato da Space2001_: 5/19/2016 3:07:59 AMIt's not. Hasn't been for a while. Used to be. Trump won't make it any better either. Especially out international image. If he becomes president, we're not gonna look very good for the next 4 years

Hail Freedonia and her glorious leader Rufus T. Firefly!

Modificato da The Fallen Zyzz: 5/18/2016 10:10:58 PMTrump is running off of the platform that America isn't great. Trump is perhaps the only candidate in a while who has admitted that America is in a harsh decline. That's why the Make America Great Again slogan works so well. It implies that Trump is the only one who can make America great again.
-
5 RisposteBecause all of the other countries are shit.

33 RisposteI can't believe this needs to be spelled out: America is the greatest at certain things, clearly not all. Those things that aren't but used to be, let's make those great again.
-
Because it's falling apart and is going in the wrong direction.
-
2 RisposteITT: People don't understand what great again means.
Protip: it means you stopped being great at some point and need to climb back up, the slogan isn't "Let's make America even more great"
-
1 RispondiI'm voting for Jimmy Fallon for president.

3 RisposteWe're not the greatest. Watch this video, it'll explain why.
-
I believe that no one thinks America is great anymore, in fact I can say that without a doubt that most of us are behind you on this one.
-
1 RispondiMaybe they see America as the shiniest turd in the world but it is still a turd?
-
Because you are in it and the liberals have sure done a good job with keeping it great oh boy oh boy!
-
7 RisposteHow in the world are people trying to claim that the slogan means "we are great, but let's get even greater", when that is not at all what the slogan means? The slogan is saying we aren't great right now, so don't pretend Trump is saying anything about "constant improvement". If you have to go through this much mental gymnastics to justify your beliefs, you should probably reconsider those beliefs.

1 RispondiI love the rhetoric of Americans... "This country sucks!!!" What about it is so bad? "EVERYTHING." Like what? "It all sucks! Look around you! Open your eyes! I shouldn't need to spell it out for you! If you don't already know, I can't tell you!" But, yeah, ask what the greatest country on Earth is and America is all great things rolled into one squared.
-
1 RispondiWho says we're the greatest?
liberal assumptions
-
We aren't the greatest country in the world, and while I believe that we have the potential to be, electing trump won't help in the slightest.
-
I've said it before & I'll say it again! Britain is the only "great" country on the planet! America is "the United States of"! ;)
