I'm not one to write things off as impossible... But my god. Sometimes we'll win our first match, then get curbstomped every match after that. It's impossible for some. Does anyone agree?
EDIT: Before you get to telling me to put more time in, understand 2 things. 1) I'm a farmer, and as such I have a lot of work to do at any given point of the day. 2) The amount of time it would take me to get on the level as these other people, assuming I sold the farm, would be greater than the time until Destiny 2. And I'm not selling the farm.

2 RisposteIt's hard because I made the mistake of not checking my teams stats and I got paired with 2 negative trials KD's. I'm personally around 1.3 in trials and not ready to carry one with a .49 KD and another that's lower than 1 somewhere
-
2 RisposteImpossible, yeah. But still fun to play. You get some pretty good stuff from the gold tier and if you can make it to at least five matches then it's like you don't entirely suck.
-
2 RisposteI have more free time than you I expect, but not really enough to get good at Trials. It's still worth playing for the bounties and the 7th win reward (if you're lucky enough to get that far!).
-
1 RispondiDo what i do. Step 1 Get good team Step 2 Force the enemy to keep their eyes on you. Bait them. Step 3 Let mlg friends take care of distracted enemies
-
23 RisposteI have no desire to go flawless anymore. I refuse to sweat all the way to my 9th match only to get wrecked by a red-bar POS in the final match. (Heck- we usually run into a shit connection by the 4th or 5th match giving us our first loss anyway...) We now just make our run to finish the bounties as quick as possible- 7 matches! If we have any losses remaining to complete the ticket bounty we will just wave and jump off the edge of the map to get the 'L' as quick as possible. Trials is horrible with SBMM. I'm sick of dealing with phantom bullets, teleporting enemies, getting shot behind a wall, minimal damage from hit markers (three freaking shots with a 1k stare to kill someone?? BS!!). Besides, the ONLY weapon worth grinding for is the DoP. My buddy got his from our run last week (lucky bastard lol). ToO hand cannon, scout, pulse, and sniper are jokes; the shotgun, rocket launcher, and LMG are 'ok'. And the armor is ugly as -blam!-.

I took 3 lighthouse virgin all the way on monday so its not impossible, yes some people are dicks and wont help if you have low kd or elo (all three were below 1.0kd actually the highest was .84 i believe) I usually help as many as i can on the weekend.
-
8 RisposteI hear ya but it took forever to find 1 player to do the bounties with. Every reply was must have a _____ ELO, must have a certain K/D or higher, must have gone to the lighthouse in year 2, must be 330 or higher. Hardly anyone wants to just to do bounties. Last weekend I think we won a total of like about 5 or 6 matches over like 3 or 4 cards but we got our bounties done. Not a lot of people want to just do the bounties which is why on our first lost they would leave. I have no aspirations on going to the lighthouse I just want to complete my bounties and have fun. It's hard finding people with this same mindset
-
Isn't that why Trials is the most "elite" of the end game? only 18% of the player base have gone to the lighthouse. It's not meant to be easy.
-
Bungie's design philosophy will always have a competent not intended for everyone to reach. It's that thing that keeps the sweaty shitbucket nerds playing.
-
You gotta realize that this has been an ongoing thing since the beginning of Destiny; there will always be players that can't complete end game content.
-
Well it's an endgame pvp activity and is probably the most competitive mode destiny has to offer so if you're not good at pvp it obviously wouldn't be for you.
-
Can't comment I haven't played since year one
-
So don't play? I'm at 334 and all I do is play Iron Banner and farm 3oC from daily and weekly crucible stuff. It's fun and low stress. ToO is for people who have gotten really good and want an extra challenge. I'm not one of those people so whatever.

EVERY PLAYER IN TRIALS EVER!!!
-
9 RisposteI have concluded that I will never be competitive at Trials due to lag. On the very very very rare occasion my team gets matched against another team in Australia, and then it is relatively smooth and fun, but every other time the other team are always red-bar gods and everything I see on my end already happened 1-4 seconds ago. You can't compete when you are 1-4 seconds behind the game. You can't even improve your skills when you are witnessing everything 1-4 seconds behind, and you get "1 shotted" by primary weapons by default.
-
From an average to bad crucible player: So what? That's the point of trials: it's a competitive (if we forget lag) thing. At some point, you reach your max level... and you get stomped.

That's what carries r for

4 RisposteModificato da FootlooseMoon8: 5/18/2016 6:14:29 PMim sorry but trials is a competitive playlist and going to the lighthouse is an honor that you're suppose to earn. All this crying to Bungie to makeit easier to go to the lighthouse isrubbish honestly, if youant put the time in to get good at the game and find friends who you can have chemistry with then maybe trials isnt for you. i had a .5 k/d in year one for trials and was about 1k kills behind. I grinded so hard in year 2 doing only 3v3 and practicng in Elimination till i made the lighthouse a weekly trip so i dont want to see all this crying about Lighthouse being to hard or you guys trying to make a way to remove players whose been flawless so you can just facepeople who are light house virgins.
-
Depends on what you're going for. Me and my buddy always pick up a 3rd to have fun, usually make it to 7 or 8 wins and we have a hell of a time. But if your getting salty for not winning 9 straight the I don't see the point
-
I used to play it for the bounties, but don't worry about them anymore, the frustration of being shotgunned in the back by an opponent who just teleported through the wall behind me made me stop. Used to enjoy the clear runs we had though. Never got past 4 wins. Probably never will. Not particularly bothered about anything apart from the shaders anyway.
-
Haven't played ToO since TTK dropped. Went flawless 3 times, said, "that is enough" and never played again. It's even more sweaty than it was before. Why play when it is just reskins of the old gear? Not worth my time or effort when it can all go to waste in the 8th game.

sub to a streamer that does double carries on twitch. hang out until you get carried. done
-
1 RispondiFor the past 4 months straight I've played trials almost every Saturday trying to go flawless. The first time I went flawless was last Saturday, I found these two guys that fit my play style perfectly. You gotta keep grinding it out and find the right people. Hope you get flawless sometime soon brother🙂
-
If only it took actual skill
-
1 RispondiMaybe if it was skill based and not a complete sniper fest that'd be cool
