As much as I hate to say it.. SS needs a serious nerf.

This post is now about all the crucible elitists who think they are gods.. the only people impressed by your 1 v 3 trials matches are.. well scrubs.. because that's all you ever play 1 v 3 anyways.. Noone is impressed that you beat a team of 3 people who's best player has a .75 KD carrying two others with a .5 KD.. this is equivalent to some dude posting a 25 kill streak in CoD against computer bots.. well actually the computer bots are probably much tougher than facing a team of three people who are always 2 - 16 in control.. I don't know what's worse? their egos for beating up a few traffic cones? Or the people who fill their heads? Peace out homies.

    • Nope there are no Immunity Frames with Shadestep. I'm about 98% sure I've died mid Shadestep in both PvP and PvE. I've been killed by supers (from a Titan Smash to Stormtrance), by Rockets, and by Grenades (both AoE and Sticky Nades) Shadestep is annoying, yes that much we know. I say add another second to it's cool down. What you are asking, judging from your list of complaints, is to completely make it useless. It's currently working as is it was intended. I am far from being a PvP expert but have you tried using sticky nades or Rocket Launchers without tracking? I've been stuck by those damn sticky nades many times right before I Shadestep and I died just like anyone stuck by it. A rocket exploding mid Shadestep kills me like it would kill anyone close enough to it. When the day comes when you stuck me with a fusion grenade right before I Shadestep and you see that grenade just fall off or you shoot a rocket at me mid Shadestep by accurately predicting where I'm going and to land it close enough to kill anyone and do no damage to me then you can start crying for a nerf. Until then you're just going to have to rely on old fashion way to get some kills or land some nice grenade throws instead of relying on fire and forget system Tracking has given you. If you honestly believe Shadestep is cheap well so are tracking grenades. And please stop trying to compare the evade Titans get with Twilight Garrison to Shadestep. As much as they both have "evade" on their description they are not the same. Shadestep is a true evade skill while Twilight Garrison's Tactical Air Support is like an ultra lite version of Shadestep. Don't get me wrong I am average at best in PvP but I love it when a Titan with Twilight Garrison tries to fly left and right mid air thinking I'm trying to snipe them. I love easy kills with my pulse rifle. You can get some pretty dope dodges against a sniper but against a scout, pulse, or Auto rifle you're hardly fooling anyone. I still think it's better used for the speed boost you gain while doing your mid air evades rather than actually trying to use it as a poor man's Shadestep. To actually believe that Twilight Garrison's "Air Dodge" should be on par with Shadestep and at the same time demand class balance is dumb.

      • Just did a 1v3 self res last night, seen my teammates do it and had it done to me multiple times. Also there are no invincibility frames you either need better internet or need to aim better.

          Just because people have been killed while doing it doesn't mean you aren't immune. I've been killed well after rounding a corner but that doesn't mean walls don't provide immunity. Its lag. And just like the situation I described, I'm sure the amount of times you die mid shadestep don't even come close to the amount of times you escape something that should have killed you. I've also been killed while invisible during pve. Doesn't mean that ai can still see you. That's a bad example, cuz it's just bad luck not lag but you get the point. You cant take a handful out of hundreds of thousands of instances (especially in destinys lag filled crucible) and be like "Ha! See you aren't immune!" Also don't confuse dying immediately entering or immediately exiting before 1st person comes back as dying mid shadestep. You could argue that the reason they seem immune is because of lag, which is a fair argument. However, just like the case of being shot thru walls, the thing that happens the least (in this case dying mid shadestep) is the lag influenced instance. If more often than not you get killed mid shade step and rarely you don't, I could buy that argument.

          • Have you played using SS? If you have then you know several of the things you've said don't happen in fact do. The trade off for increased maneuverability is armor. Pretty balanced IMO. Every class has an item or ability that allows enhanced movement.

          • Maybe you should edit in sunsinger melee ? I can deal with that shit grenade they have even if it's like hell when you're being spammed by multiples in trials and melting to an inch of your life off one but that damn over shield with melee is ridiculous considering the melee has sniper range . I've had warlock melee beat shotguns and fusion grenades they've been stuck with all because they just touch someone before it goes off and they become invincible

          • Its fine once it is single use with a decent cooldown..right now you can shadestep twice and after 1-2 seconds you can do it again.. just make it once in 3-4 seconds so you can't spam it.

              • Tether is by far one of the worst subclass. The super sucks, and you have use a grenade and melee charge just to come close to killing someone with nades. Quit bitching because your op ass firebolts cant tag them.
