Bungie's latest patch has brought with it some serious changes to the Voidwalker's abilities - all of them being incredible improvements to the Voidwalker's Super, Melee, and Grenade abilities.
From health and Super energy on Melee hit to instant Grenade recharge and health regeneration on Grenade and Super kills, the Voidwalker has been given the edge that it needed to compete with other subclasses in both Crucible and PvE.
However, there are other subclasses which fall behind because they, too, lack the edge needed to compete with others.
I'm talking about the Titan's subclasses, and I'm asking that you give them the improvements they need to compete with the other classes in both Crucible and PvE.
Here are some ideas for improvements to the Titan I hope you'll consider implementing.
If you agree and would like to see any of these changes, feel free to show your support.
Striker
Death From Above:
While airborne, Fist of Havoc can be aimed at enemies below, and deals more damage in a wider radius. Bonus damage and blast radius is determined by your altitude.
Shockwave:
Fist of Havoc unleashes a wave of devastating energy which travels outward from the user.
Discharge:
Hits with Storm Fist deal area of effect damage around the target. Enemies damaged by Discharge are temporarily blinded and disoriented.
Before you say that this would be over-powered, consider that Nightstalkers get to blind, damage, and slow enemies with Smoke from any range.
Headstrong:
Sprint faster, and sprinting increases the leap distance of Fist of Havoc. Reduces incoming flinch.
Aftershocks:
Increases the duration of Pulse Grenade, Lightning Grenade, and Aftermath and the blinding duration of Flashbang Grenade and Discharge.
An ideal version of this perk would add two seconds to Discharge and Flashbang's blinding effects, making Flashbangs useful in Crucible.
Defender
Unbreakable:
Force Barrier continually recharges, and recharges your Melee and Grenade as it takes damage.
Bastion:
Increases the duration of Ward of Dawn, and enemies that enter your Ward of Dawn will instantly be suppressed.
Gift of the Void:
Your Ward of Dawn and Force Barrier will generate Orbs of Light as they take damage from enemy fire.
Illuminated:
Increases the benefits granted by Blessing of Light and Weapons of Light. Kills made while under the effects of Armor, Blessing, or Weapons of Light have a chance to create an Orb of Light for your allies.
Sunbreaker
Flameseeker:
Your Hammer of Sol will alter its flight path to seek out your enemies. Hammer of Sol tracks more aggressively while your sights are set on your target.
Fleetfire:
Scrap this perk.
The Agility bonus is barely noticeable even at +3 stacks and the added reload and weapon handling speed is hardly a reward when Voidwalkers get both just for hitting someone and Bladedancers get Quickdraw.
I've been using it in Crucible only because Flameseeker and Explosive Pyre are zero help.
Please, remove Fleetfire and in its place put another perk: Fire Forged.
Fire Forged:
Enemies felled by your fire grant you additional Armor and flinch resistance. Stacks up to three times.
Well, these are some ideas I think would improve the Titan's standing in Crucible and, in general, give them the edge they need.
Thanks for listening.

You should not change Discharge and Bastion at all, they're fine as they are. Otherwise, this is great. But we all know Bungie isn't gonna make these changes.
-
Alright, some ideas I agree with, some are broken and should not happen. Death from above- Bonus damage based on height, yes Discharge melee- Should not blind and do aoe damage. Make a different melee perk blind. Still wouldn't do much in crucible considering then can hit melee and fight back Headstrong- No to flinch resistance. Op Aftershocks- I agree with making flash bangs last longer as well. Bastion- HELL YES to suppressing enemies inside it. Bubble Bros need love. Illuminated- Should be any kill made (you or ally) will drop an orb. Right now bubbles have the stagnant 2 orbs and it would help out considering it's mainly a support class. 3 orb with lupi, 3 additional if enemy shoots the bubble enough.
-
Perhaps too over powered, but Striker Titans need a buff to melee for sure.
-
Striker titans need no buff.
-
Very nice
-
fleet fire is awesome in pve. everything else you suggested is solid
-
2 RisposteI disagree with the suppressing bubble. I main a Titan, but I think that should be saved for an exotic armor piece instead
-
-
Other than the suppressing bubble, everything looks good.
-
I need this in my life.
-
LET ME THROW MY BUBBLE BUNGIE QQ
-
That was great! Nice job and good ideas!

I just wanted Force Barrier on Defenders to Proc on hit. Sunsingers get their Flame Shield AND it can burn them to death. Us Defenders have to kill them before we get our prized shield and its not easy. Only way I ever win fights is by using my ACD/0 Feedback Fence.
-
Strikers are fine. Sun Breakers need a perk rework. They need a perk for Burns just to get back at Sun Singers. Defenders should activate Force Barrier on contact. No changes other than that. I just really want to get back at Sun Singers. You hit them, they hit you, cmere fgt! I got a shield now too bitch!

10 RisposteVoidwalkers have been on the lower end for a year and a half. Let them have their time to shine above the rest.
-
Shoulder charging and panic super players are enough of a headache already lol when i play as a striker i see no issue with the way the current supers are set up..still do amazing damage, anymore would make it insane and these forums would be filled with even more people banging heads on walls
-
3 RisposteShoulder charge, juggernaut, and the 150 damage melee are broken enough. Sunbreaker just requires skill to use now and is still capable of wiping teams. Defender has a rediculous pair of exotic gauntlets that give you a damn overshield when you get a shotgun kill. Titans are fine where they are.
-
The one thing I think needs to be fixed is the bubble. I think a fresh bubble should take the whole of other supers to break. So three shots for a golden gun. A super for a super. Then over time it should decrease how many shots. That's really the only change I would like to have.
-
I just got 27 kills in a Rift match as a titan. My Fists super is halfway upgraded. I didn't get any kills with aftermath and I didn't need any exotics although the Inmost Light probably would have added an extra oomph to my supers, when I used them, If I owned it. You want more sprint speed? I literally ran around the objective shoulder charging everybody. After being a warlock for a year getting his teeth kicked in, yeah, I think the warlock balances and voidwalker buffs are PLENTY welcome. Voidwalkers were useless seeing as half of their abilities were useless unless you got a kill. Life Drain is iffy now. It might have been fun during Sepiks Prime in the Beta but unless you got a lucky kill in crucible, running Apothesis and the weapon movement drain was the best deal. Life Drain was good for PvE but I don't mind since Voidwalker is generally useless for PvE unless you want to spice things up and have fun (still a strong class with the extra punch!). Fist of Havoc might need a little overhaul with some of it's abilities but it takes time, and a data, to understand. Not a wishlist. I don't mean to bash your list, that's cool but you have to understand how in the hell that would affect the meta. More blinding? More AoE? lol I think it does need more adjusting in terms of usefulness. I have to admit, I never would have seen the day where 3 of the Warlock's classes got balanced the most correctly. Less super for a self-res? Check. Make the other melees more useful? Check. Shorten Stormtrance? Check. I'm a warlock main and I'm loving these changes. It's all about finding the right data and making the right adjustments. I think Bungie's right on track. (I get to push people back with my Scorch and use it more often fyi ^^ where I used to use it for fun, now it's more useful)

Only thing I want to see changed is catapult. It's still not that useful

1 RispondiNo. Voidwalker energy drain and embrace the void were just all the way broken and useless. All they did was fix them to where now the energy drain effect activates on super and grenade kills which was always supposed to be how it was. The only real buff they got was energy drain now gives like half a grenade charge back so is a lot more noticeable and rewards grenade kills. The kill has to be with a grenade. So in my mind this rewards skill. The super was not touched at all. I disagree with most of this stuff. FOH kills me no matter how far above it. Foh and shoulder charge are super effective and I haven't really found a good counter for them on a neutral warlock. Also blinding or lighting grenades, please don't tell me you don't have a very good neutral game. Add twilight garrison into this and just wow. None of this stuff needs a buff. Still very nasty. I am not going to respond to the whole post, but lets talk about sunbreakers. Flameseeker is useless. If they fixed it they should also fixed angry magic. zero tracking. I think the super is in a great place. Still a monster to run away from. My thing about sunbreaker is their neutral game, mainly grenades. I think they should take away their hunter grenade and give them swarm. Two swarm grenades? With simmering flames. Sick... Titians are the only class that can run two of any grenades.

Modificato da iDovahBear: 4/24/2016 7:24:22 AMThese are all great ideas! Although I think the Blinding Melee is a bit far-fetched. I could see it being any Exotic of a sorts, if they wanted to make a hyper-blind build for PvE/PvP. But adding it to the class would feel a bit awry. I happen to think it's the best Titan melee available even with that perk as it is. It's just so strong! I wish other Titan melees could compete with the damage, but they both linger behind and Sunbreaker melee's ignite doesn't even count as the melee for Quest/Bounty completions ffs...
-
The best part about it is zero impact on pvp. All subclasses need such changes made to them.
-
Fleet fire is awesome. Don't take the one thing I really like about Sunbreaker.
-
6 RisposteTitans need some buffing, to be sure, but most of these suggestions would make them OP.
