Would anyone else want to see the VoG back
I know most of the community hates it when bungie reuses old content but I far more enjoy the VoG then KF just want to here your opinions
Yes I know it's still there I'm looking for a reason to play it other then the fun times I have had there

I would love for a VoG update. Very timely post. Me and my friends were late comers to Destiny and just started raiding (took a bit to get 6 buddies in their mid 30's on board what with life and all). We looked to do the raids sequentially, and did VoG last night. It was totally awesome and wonderful. I'd love to see it brought up to current levels, as it's fantastic. Not everyone has been playing since 2014 and having meaningful rewards attached to raids I think makes people more likely to do all the fantastic content. I'm also not even quite sure about how the difficulty translates. We certainly died quite a few times and it wasn't an easy process at all given the mechanics and whatnot. The level 25 or so enemies didn't really feel all too different from level 41 enemies in heroic strikes or missions. Looking at the posts below, I don't think it has anything to do with moving on... I mean, people run stuff over and over at all levels of the game, whether it be missions or strikes or what have you. And I agree... No f'in Taken.

Funny enough one of my clan mates mentions almost every day that he wish VoG and the VoG weapons were relative again

I'd like all the raids to be relevant, but particularly the Vault. A challenge mode there with updates rewards would be welcome.

Yes. A heroic challenge VoG with updated gear. A challenge each week like King's Fall has would be nice too. As an example, one challenge could be to kill the Templar without him teleporting.

Fun wise it can still be run, but story line wise, yes there is a story line, it would not fit into it. With PoE it be used over and over again. Just like now, Variks wants the new taken Bosses put in there while Eris wants them destroyed. All in all PoE is really the only end game content that can be used long term, because Variks will always want the big enemies put in there for study.

1 RispondiJust played it Sunday!! Good times for sure. Helped a friend complete the, 'no time to explain quest'. The Vex Mythoclast still has not dropped for me, so each time I run it I get a little excited!! It's fun to run if your still collecting gear from Y1 But I know what you mean, it would be nice to obtain something comparable to what we get now, still fun is all I'm saying.

3 RisposteLore wise, it doesn't make sense to go back. Content wise, I don't see a reason as to why Bungie can't roll out a higher light level challenge just for people to do it again. Light a 300 light level requirement. Particularly, to get a year 2 mythoclast & nechropeashooter

It would be fine for players who always raid with the same group. It would be a nightmare for randoms in-game or #Recruitment. I would most likely have to teach them without a mic. Try showing someone how to do the Gorgon maze or Gatekeepers without a mic. Also, a side note. You don't have to say if you are teleported to Mars or Venus. Take a look at the radar. Whichever side of the radar they are at, is the portal you open.

I love this game, but THE biggest mistake Bungie have made with the life cycle of Destiny, is discarding old content when new content drops. Having new things to do is great, even if you have to pay and even if there is a certain amount of recycling going on - but new content drops shouldn't mean old content is cast aside and has no worthwhile purpose. We've lost year 1 crucible maps, strikes, two raids and countless weapons & armor along the journey, they're still in the game, but they're all as pointless to us now as re-running year 1 story mode missions on easy difficulty Think how great it'd be to have EVERYTHING in this game available and at the hardest difficulty at the same time - they'd be some much choice for things to do each week.

I'm guessing it's a part of the story line for the future and that's why it hasn't been brought back yet. I'm hopefully, but I at least wish they give each CP vanguard rep like Crota gives you Eris rep

1 RispondiGood memories should remain what they are - [i]Memories[/i]. It's like good movies - if you see them a second time, they're just half as good as the first time. I'd rather keep the Vault of Glass as an exceptional experience than getting a rehashed version. It just wouldn't be the same.
