I see it on these forums all the time.
Person A: *says anything*
Person B (who disagrees but can't coherently articulate his feelings): Your KD sucks, kid.
That's not how you argue, just saying.
EDIT: This game is hella casual. Who cares about KD in Destiny?
EDIT 2: FoMan123 gave a brilliant response. Check it out below. Also, we're trending.
EDIT 3: To those commenting on my K/D, which is admittedly negative, you have missed the point entirely. Bad stats in this game don't matter. Good stats don't matter. Only one thing matters: fun. This is not my opinion; this is the way the game was made. It was designed for and marketed to casual players. Anyone who treats it like, CSGO, per say, is delusional.

Your KD does suck.. no wonder this makes ypu salty. Kid.
-
10 Risposte* checks OP kd.* Negative. .. big surprise. Oh, and it's the point. It's the very point.
-
8 RisposteOf course the scrub OP has a negative k/d lol
-
It matters a lot in many pvp discussions. Meaningless in PvE.
-
If i say "thorn is op" it kills me too much and is gay. And somebody responds "your k/d is a .2" then that is because i suck at the game, and therefore why thorn wrecked me. I probably just saw 2 in one game or something
-
KDR matters and I have the best KDR here so I'm right. Suck it, fags
-
5 RisposteI am 3000 kills away from a positive k/d, because I was really bad when I first started. Now, I am pretty good, and I constantly reach the top player on my team. Sooooo....since, my k/d is still low, I must be a bad player?
-
3 RisposteYa see tho, I know my k/d sucks. But I'm not trying to be the best Destiny player. I'm trying to have a good time. I'll sacrifice a few stats for that. People can bring the hate.
-
1 RispondiI've never been in a argument that a big handful of Kraft Dinner thrown in the face couldn't win.
-
3 Risposte
I see it on these forums all the time. EDIT: I understand KD can become prevalent in Crucible-heavy discussions, but it's not always employed during a Crucible discussion. Besides, this game is hella casual. Who cares about KD in Destiny?
Where? Every game mode I play I encounter year 1 day 1 players sweaties trying to snipe me all the time.
-
KD under 1 on main. Argument invalid
/s
1 RispondiModificato da CaineSoren: 4/21/2016 12:26:52 PMI'm going to play the devils advocate here and say that there are occasions where brining up stats is justified. There are times when people who barely play crucible or are not very good at it suggest changes that affect a subsection of players in a very bad way. In that instance it's easier to point out stats than to make a bizarre counter argument.
-
1 RispondiIt totally depends on how you want to play the game and what aspect of it you enjoy. Do you reject people and call them noobs because they don't have dat chroma? Do you call a low light person in your raid group a noob? Same principles apply.
-
As much as I loathe shotguns they can be very useful. The amount I have been seeing lately has resulted to in a lot of shotgun jousting, so they usually trade. However, a good shotgun bee can trade every life but still help the team win. So their k/d can be low, but their win ratio can be high. It's like judging a soccer (football) player on how many goals they have scored. A goalie rarely scores, but they are most important player on the team.
-
1 RispondiI'm just casually destroying everyone, having a good time. Some hiccups here and there.
-
6 RisposteThe reason my kd is low is becuase I rush hard and die a lot unlike a lot of poeple on this game who camp in their spawn and snipers. Not hating just saying, a lot of poeple camp.
-
Agree For anyone who talks about your k/d, just answer him saying :"Why are you looking at my kd, scrub
-
Git gud
-
Coming from the guy with a negative kd
-
Well c.o.d players do!
-
I find the best reference is to use the past 7-30 days, because yeah your right some people might have really sucked early on.
-
4 RisposteIf you come onto the forums whining nerf this, nerf that, chances are you are a crap player and have no legitimate argument to argue about anything. In that situation looking up someone's kd is relevant. You don't get to complain about shotguns if your kd is .5. Learn how to play the game first.
-
If the KD factor was the defining aspect of an argument/discussion it would be like a team of players that the manager doesn't know anything because he can't play the sport anymore.
-
Unless it's someone trying to nerf something. Like when this hunter said that it was the op shoulder charge and warlock melee that was the reason why he was doing badly, but he has a worse k/d on his Titan and warlock. If tian and warlock are so op thenshouldn't his stats be through the roof? That's just my thinking, I won't use it in an argument to do with skill but when someone try's to nerf!!! Oooooo it rustles my jimmies ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
I kinda cared still do a little bit at times, i need to improve but don't forget to have fun, If i focus on it too much to try and go positive i play shit and get salty lol Now that remote play is available my kd in matches is all over the place
-
Agree but kids and tryhards loves to show how big their dick is on here. :/
