What fuel source do our ships run on?
This is a legit question. Is it glimmer? Cause seriously. What do they run on? Can someone explain? I'm sure we ran out of petrol, coal and all of our other shiz...

They run on the collective salt of every single guardian everywhere in this app and in the game. It's an unlimited resource, not even a renewable resource which still needs some regulations so it can be used sustainably, it's literally a fûcking unlimited resource, use as much as you want.

Poop. Have you ever seen a guardian use a bathroom? Is there even a bathroom at the tower or the reef? No bathrooms on the various locations we go to. Only place left is in our ships.

6 RisposteProbably some golden age fuel source that Amanda knows how to get. It is likely something really mundane. It can't be anything to terribly fancy as remember most of the ships we use are OLD, or just reproductions of old ships. (Not counting the weird magic Hive ships, or the Vault of Glass ships whose power source is likely locked in time.) I would imagine whatever we use to power them is in the Cosmodrome, which explains why it is so important to the city. I think the bigger question is what does the Reef use to power their ships, they have literally nothing but scrap out there.
