4 RisposteFirst of all I'm gonna play the dlc. Issue: 1. They have taken this game that was based on fireteams and raiding parties and taken away any real value for completions. How? A player may now obtain max light though solo strike play throughs. This completely breaks the way this game was made. Yes currently u can reach max light or 319 from non raid event, however that avenue takes several times longer to do and as such is acceptable. The fact that I can spend 3 hours a day and solo max out takes away the fun fact of the game. Inventory looses value this way. Raid gear has to be set apart from main basic bitch gear it has to be placed up high for those who can complete the challenge. 2. Not really sure why it's important to bring back old weapons other than the fact that they already existed and that's less work on the dev side... Cop out..... :| Good stuff. Everything else is good. Though this content will get old like Poe did.

4 RisposteCan't infuse my y1 gear that I've saved that's being brought to y2?... not interested in this update. I won't waste time re-grinding shit I've already earned again. I don't care to play another artificial grind-extender like that. So I guess I'm done with Destiny at least until the next game unless they change that.

12 RisposteTo everyone who came into Destiny with The Taken King, welcome to the game and we are pleased to have you! But i must tell you a lot of these posts talk about these godly guns and you might feel like wow i missed out on the best of the best. But here is the reality....the only 3 guns i feel bad you missed that were absolutely Godly in everything were Fatebringer legendary handcannon explosive rounds and outlaw you blew up large conglomerates of enemies with a lightening fast reload. Black hammer would replenish your ammo without taking from reserves as long as all 3 shots were crit, meaning you could stun lock a boss from beginning to end and you would most likely finish war priest on 1st aura and golgoroth in 1 maybe 2 rounds max if you have bad aim. And Oryx would be done in a few mins. Basically your 21 rounds could last an entire strike or raid if you had good aim. And of course Gally....the melting machine, bosses didn't stand a chance and 1 rocket could easily kill 10 or more ads in its prime it was the most godliest weapon in Destiny history thus far. Anything else was decent.

6 RisposteCan someone please tell me if I'm going to have to re-earn my trials armor, and flawless adept weapons again to be able equip the cromas...im excited about the update...but this would upset and sadden me at same time.

Now I'm interested, and if bungie reveals a little something called custom matches or rebalancing, (because they promised quarterly rebalancing), I'll be happy.

12 RispostePretty happy overall. Only thing I am dissapointed about is that if I want the Taken look, I cant wear any exotics. But it's a very small annoyance, and I think that they have done well with this FREE update.

All of these year 2 Pvp players have only had 1KS to moan about up to now. Edit: there also seems to be a lot of confusion in the replies about the year 1 legendaries that are being bought forward. Those that are coming to year 2 ONLY decrypt from engrams. You cannot infuse into the year 1 versions you own and make them current. So if you have an old shadow price in the vault it will stay at old values. You have to be lucky and decrypt a new one from an engram.

5 RisposteSteps on how to keep people playing. 1) Release an expansion which takes away 90% of gear and weapons people grinded for. 2) Once expansion is dead and player base is leaving re-introduce gear and weapons that were taken away and make player base grind to re-aquire them.

18 RisposteDoes anybody at Bungie smile, ever? I've watched today's stream, as well as last week's, and I must say nobody at Bungie seems to be at all excited about their "new" content. Between Cosmo barely staying awake during the stream and Deej being grossly misinformed last week, and the two gentlemen today appearing as though they'd rather be anywhere else, how can they expect the fan base to be excited?
