They are UPDATING/RAISING THE LIGHT LEVEL/IMPROVING DROPS IN;
Prison of Elders,
Court of Oryx,
Heroic Strikes,
Nightfall Strikes,
King’s Fall Raid,
Iron Banner
Trials of Osiris.
Adding a new strike.
New version of old favourite strike.
New wobbly void sword.
Tron armour.
Taken shader shotgun (maybe).
Taken shader OR ARMOUR OR WHATEVER.
I didn't even watch the steam, this is just from the news article.
Longer list than I would have dared expect.
Zero EXTRA cost IF YOU ALREADY OWN TTK.

I think there is a lot of misunderstanding on this forum topic. Many people are saying its free, its not free etc. But its probably more accurate to say that it feels like we have already paid for it due to the lacklustre of previous content and the high price of the Taken King. Personally I feel a little conned by the rehashing of old unpopular content. Some people will obviously be delighted at the new content but you cant blame people for the feeling of being overcharged. After-all overcharging is all about perspective.

Hey I'm excited to get back into the game for a bit and try to grind out this stuff but it's just old content they didn't have ready for ttk. Why else hold all those exotics for so long and say there's a free update coming unless it was all supposed to be there anyway. I'm not salty like I said hey I paid for it all I'm glad most of it is starting to show up so I'll deff be playing. Then I'll go back to something else until something legitimate comes out in game.

It's not free, you stupid, pathetic asswipe. It's content that should've been included in TTK, but wasn't, because there wasn't enough there to justify the price. Furthermore, it's only "free" if you bought TTK, which for most of us had been a $130 investment, which resting is [u]not[/u] worth.

They have a right to feel that way. If anything, I can understand why. Aside from 1 story quest and 1 strike, all I see is just another annoying uphill battle against bad RNG across the exact same content we've already done. I'm not seeing where all this hype and praise for Bungie is coming from, to be honest. Maybe I'm weird.

For the amount of cash that I've ploughed into this game it better damn well be free. Doesn't change that fact that their amount of 'content' is laughable.

They're not actually buffing some of that content if all they are doing is increasing light lvl to be effectively the same tier as it was before. Can't even be bothered trying to argue all your other points.

13 RisposteThis isn't dlc, this is an update and it took them 7 months to add in things that should of taken them a couple of months to do after ttk. Pretty sad when you think about the large gap between content drops and how people feel satisfied on what they're getting out of it.
