Having the scarab doesn't make you a good player
Ya see, anyone can get the scarab. All they need is 9 wins on a card. They can still have 2 losses and get the scarab.
The scarab drops by pure, very low chance.

Really, ok , thought it didn't . I went flawless year 1 so that exotic emblem is all I care about since you can't get it anymore . ( yeah I'm scrub , but at least I know I've done it 4-7 times already)

1 RispondiNo, you must go flawless, then the card qualifies for getting a scarab. Having a scarab does identify with a certain amount of skill or there wouldnt be whiney "i cant get to the lighthouse" or "carry me through trials" threads.

Earned mine after 13-0. Most people I know with it don't even wear it. You look cocky with it on.

I have carried 1000 ELO players with getting their scarab. It's just a cool emblem to have.

Yes anyone can get it, that's the point. You have to have persistance to get it. Those who have it usually have played a lot of Trials and it shows. Most of the Scarab's I've faced have been decent players. The Emblem isn't proof of a good player, it's proof of determination and experience.

If you mean they're good in their positioning and use of weaponry, I'd only agree with that about 50% of the time. I will say this, though. I've never been Flawless before, but the last time I played Trials with some buds, we took down a full Fireteam of Scarab Hearts, using Ice Breaker for ammo, and (I think, I'm not sure. It was two weeks ago or so.) there was a self-res Sunsinger. Probably the 3rd happiest moment I've had in Trials, the first two being when the Year 1 and 2 cloaks dropped for me.

Its not cool anymore... most of us took our scarab emblems off long ago.

It's a grind man, but once you get it it's the most exciting thing for a dedicated pvp player. Shittÿ players will get it because they have good luck, but truly skilled players will EARN IT, and have the skill and dedication to prove it.

8 RisposteLOL! True! My son is the best PvP player I know having gone flawless literally 40-50 times since year 1 and he tried to get it his last 10 trips to mercury and FINALLY got it a week or so ago. Getting Scarab just makes you lucky...lol
