It just goes to show how out of touch Bungie is with the playerbase likes/wants and dislikes. POE was disliked by the majority of players and it isn't missed. I have seen so many posts here asking to make the old raid raids relevant again and none about making PoE relevant. Please don't tell me you're thinking of making that crap relevant again before a quality raid like Vault of Glass and even the slightly inferior Crota's End raid.
Edit- Whoever said they like POE but never beat Skolas... Your opinion is invalid.
And if you started playing during HoW and have more PoE completions than raid completions. Your opinion is invalid and biased. You didn't experience the previous content at its prime.

I liked PoE. My only problem with it was that you couldn't get exp/glimmer from killing enemies.
-
I loved going into the poe and soloing all of them except skolas trickle because of stupid poison and can't get self res fast enough
-
Bump, I don't care much for the Crota raid But the VoG, omg that's why I play this game. It's just too easy now though PoE would be awesome with a few tweaks. Matchmaking across the board for one.
-
If it has anything to do with Poe I'm never playing this trash ass game again
-
Skolas is dead. You have nothing to worry about little light.
-
Wait how do we know that
-
I like PoE.

6 RisposteModificato da sakireis: 3/18/2016 5:59:05 AMEdit: WALL OF TEXT AHEAD. TREAD CAREFULLY. Most players don't want to have their hand held to max level. And by re-upping old raids that will be just holding the community's hand to high level. If they were to add something to the old content they would receive complaint after complaint saying that they destroyed the "best" raid. By possibly adding new prison challenges to the game they can get away with "changing" something already in the game. Because each challenge is its own thing just adding a few more wouldn't change PoE because it wouldn't change the already existing content. I mean hell what if they add like four new high level challenges equivalent to what skolas was in difficultly. It would almost be like adding four year one raids. Given of course that year one raids had few bosses compared to king's fall. In short PoE is the best way to introduce new content or bring forward old content because it never was quite the same each time you played one of the challenges. Because it was either 32 or 34. Or skolas had a different set of modifiers that week. Yeah there only a few different sets but it still was different each week. And honestly I will accept new PoE challenges because it was actually challenging for when it was relevant. Also have something different to play each week even it does cycle at some point would keep me and others playing. Like look at iron banner bungie decides to change it from control to clash or rift. And mixing things up a bitkjeeps it fun. Like imagine how bland trials would be if it was the same map every week. Never changes just who you fight. It would get boring half way into the second week. And even king's fall has things that are different each week. The optional challenges that you may do if you want to. This game needs change and the community craves it. That is why bungie said awhile ago that there would be sandbox updates at some kind of basis. It changes how the weapons that we all use behave and how effective they are in general. Same goes for classes too. Changing up how classes work in small ways keeps us playing because we want to experience the change and then learn how play with. Bungie saw this shortly after the felwinter's was sold. Everyone got one and used only it really. Yeah it's reign went on for a long time only because they that the best way to fight was by making shotguns similar to it easier to obtain. Sure it worked in its own regard but didn't exactly satisfy the community's craving for change. That is where ttk came and changed everything for better or for worse. Following updates addressed some concerns the community had with some of the changes being a bit too much. Concerns that were indeed rightfully warranted because we saw another groove being made by pulses and shotguns. That was changed a little to prevent it for the most part. Now here we are making another groove to slide into so we don't have to try so hard to play. The crucible is almost over run by doctrine or autos of similar stats or hand cannons such as the eyasluna and tlw along with a trusty ol' sniper rifle. And now here we are only weeks away from another change that we all want in some way or another. We are scared but excited at the same time. TL; DR Old raids stay old to help keep them authentic. PoE is easier to update DIFFERENT challenges into. We crave change. Bungie has known this for awhile. Sandbox update will ultimately change how crucible matches typically go. If not immediately, eventually when most people pick up on what is good or not. No hand holding. Not saying there is any when it comes to this new light system. Just shooting a stern glare at HoW.
fusion nerf

probably not

but we can always hope

<3
Dude. PoE is pretty fun, they can make it useful, and they can update it so it has more variety. Just keep your mind open, alright? It's better than nothing.
-
First off, don't think you can speak for the majority of players. I for one loved PoE during Y1. Beating Skolas, especially after they nerfed the solar damage of the first couple of weeks, was just as exciting as beating the raids. Secondly, I think you'll find that not only PoE but both year 1 raids will be brought forward, if that's in fact what's being released. To think that they would just bring PoE forward and leave the raids is just plain stupid. Just, for blam sake, stop the f@@@ing crying and wait for the reveal.

4 RisposteIt's free content. I'm not complaining

Modificato da Neighbor: 3/18/2016 11:02:37 AMPoE was fun. But got stale. I still do PoE every once and a while.
-
Let's be honest here. Prison of elders was fun the first couple of times. Then it got more and more of a hassle. It took the place of a raid becuase bungo rushed it. We don't know anything until the stream.
-
I loved poe it was the best dlc imo
-
A Taken PoE round/Boss could actually be quite fun, Lvl 35 Skolas (all 6 round) takes not even 15 mins from start to finish. Crota is irrelevant now, VoG could have Taken elements added or just have an increased difficulty, although would you then have the same guns rewarded? Given Bungie aren't keen on having elemental primaries anymore. One thing I'm interested in, is whether the new light level will be gained through new rewards or if like HoW you have to use something using to Etheric light for early yr 2 gear
-
PoE was cool
-
I liked poe I want to see some harder boss fights though I want challenge. I don't want to be able to run through easy. Some sort of horde mode would be good as well.
-
2 RisposteDismantle salt, yessss?

1 RispondiTo be honest, PoE did have the best loot system of any activity thus far. Going down to the chest, guaranteed drops and etheric light and armour/weapon cores and exotic chance. But the thing is...it kind of sucked. The PoE loot system needs to be implanted into something better...like a raid or something.
-
Prison of elders had potential but just wasn't done properly
-
1 RispondiIn yr1, PoE was how I hit lvl 34. I will always have a sympathetic patch for it.
-
2 RisposteI think they may have gotten confused. The poe ERA was the best in destiny due to 3 pve endgames that gave relevant rewards. It wasn't Poe we liked. It was the diversity

6 RispostePrison of Elders. What made people hate this? Sure the "Dismantle mines yesssssss? Or you die!" Is annoying but so is "F*CKING WRONG PLATFORM" "KNIGHTS ARE OUT" "I HAVE HIS GAZE" "STOP RUNNING TOWARDS ME" "GET ON YOUR PLATFORM" "WHO WASN'T ON THEIR PLATFORM?" "OGRES!" For example (true story: *I join team to do Kings fall* Leader: Hey you have Black spindle and Sleeper Simulant? I know you don't have Touch of Malice already. But you can stay. Me: Yeah I have black spindle and Sleeper, so Warpriest right? Leader: Yeah. *I land from orbit* Me: Revive please. Leader: You think we don't know that, Jesus Christ. Me: ??? *I'm with leader on left side* *Hallowed Knight kills leader* Me: I got your revive! *Knight dies* Leader: GET ON THE F*CKING PLATE!!! Me: It's right not left! Leader: OH MY GOD! *I revive leader and get on plate* *Leader gets Aura thingy (Can't remember the name)* *Leader is shooting Warpriest with ToM* Me: Uhh, you're supposed to kill the adds. Not the Warpriest. Leader: I AM KILLING THE ADDS! *Leader dies to ToM final round* Leader: JESUS CHRIST! KILL THE ADDS WHOEVER HAD THE BUBBLE! Me: You had the bubble. Leader: F*CKING HELL WHY DIDNT YOU KILL THE ADDS?!?!?! Me: I was killing adds because someone had to make sure the fireteam didn't die to the acolytes. *Leader gets bubble again the next Glyph sequence* *Everything goings perfect then Leader runs towards Warpriest with raze lighter* *Leader dies* Leader: WHY WERENT YOU F*CKING DEFENDING ME? Me: Because you ran to fast and the (If you're not behind the pillar you die thingy) killed you. *I'm kicked*
