If the April Update is related to Prison of Elders...
It just goes to show how out of touch Bungie is with the playerbase likes/wants and dislikes. POE was disliked by the majority of players and it isn't missed. I have seen so many posts here asking to make the old raid raids relevant again and none about making PoE relevant. Please don't tell me you're thinking of making that crap relevant again before a quality raid like Vault of Glass and even the slightly inferior Crota's End raid.
Edit- Whoever said they like POE but never beat Skolas... Your opinion is invalid.
And if you started playing during HoW and have more PoE completions than raid completions. Your opinion is invalid and biased. You didn't experience the previous content at its prime.

OR they're stubborn and want to correct the mistakes that they made with PoE. From a consumer standpoint and business it actually would show that they do care because they want to go back and fix the errors that they've made in the past. I see this as a chance for Bungie to better themselves and learn from what PoE was and what it can be with this next update. [spoiler]Applying a negative connotation to everything isn't a fun way to look at things. Just my opinion though...[/spoiler] And to be quite honest the only reason PoE wasn't liked is because of the gear, it was widely considered the worst gear in game.

Just guessing but most people crying about the possibility of poe being updated are probably those who failed to beat skolas on hard and therefore also failed to get that year 1 emblem for completion of year 1 end game content. Yeah it was challenging I admit but it felt good once you finally beat that prick and imo it was enjoyable. Just saying as I regard myself as part of the community

10 RispostePeople disliked the POE because the primary weapon drops were and still are non existent. Before TTK I successfully killed Skolas 11 times and I had zero primary weapons drop, but I enjoyed the challenge and it was fun to give other guardians that Skolas win too! The main reason POE was virtually not played was because the trials of Osiris gave players more rewards as compared to POE. Example, packages from ToO gave you multiple etheric light, whereas Skolas gave you one. Not knocking ToO in the least bit by the way, but it gave players to option to totally skip Skolas and just run trials and achieve max level.

The reason people said they hated PoE was because they were too terrible to kill Skolas on anything other than solar burn...

2 RisposteI don't think you really know what you're talking about. Only a vocal minority actually hated PoE. The only thing I disliked about it was the 10 Her Mercys the final chest dropped.

Im assuming if they are remaking poe they would learn from their mistakes last time. They got alot of feedback on why people didnt like it, way to repetitive, no randomness, no checkpoints, bad weapons, etc

I think more people liked PoE than you think. Most people just thought it needed refinement and improvements (especially some checkpoints). Also that is tied to the House of Wolves content, so if we get something as (or more) engaging as the 'Wolves' public events back in patrol, then I'm definitely all for that. I can't remember another time in Destiny's history that there were so many people to interact with in patrol than during the House of Wolves DLC.

Bungie does not have to listen to the community and do as the forums command. This community is constantly asking for any content and then when it's hinted at and it's not what they want everyone takes a tantrum.

If it is just PoE and not the old raids as well I think I'll pass. My least favorite thing in year 1.

10 RisposteThis is the main problem with the community. One person thinks that they know exactly what the majority community wants and enjoys. Bungie has their statistics. Obviously they thought prison of elders would be better. Deal with it.
