Today is the make it or break it update
And they have to deliver.
I don't care, they can't keep dragging us along like this and thinking we'd be interested after so many months of non transperency.
See the twitch streams? How low the views were? Everyone in the chat was starving for new content. You know why we are continually farming Omnigul? To pass the time and hopes to get a god roll Grasp of Malock. It's the only content right now that's been interesting lol. But here's to hoping.
But this update either will be a make or break. If it's the break, well I guess I'll continue playing Witcher 3. I hope there's hope in the news of upcoming content. Cause I don't think my friends and I are gonna wait another 3 months for new content.
Anyone else agree?
Edit* Wow we are trending. Cozmo replied to my post this is awesome! Also thank you for showing us some exciting news that there's more stuff to come! And for replying to my post! And thank you for reassuring us that there is still exciting content to look forward too.

It's too late for me I feel. I keep getting on these forums (maybe out of habit at this point) hoping they say some mind-shattering thing. But to be honest, I don't even know what that could even be. They can introduce year 2 Gally, and I won't care. They can nerf or buff whatever they want. Matchmake this...skill or connection? It's gotten to the point where we are actually BEGGING BUNGIE to rehash content. Are you really gonna replay VOG? You're really gonna regrind Crota or PoE? Really? I like to pretend like I am...but I am not. Not for what they call "drops" these days. I'll still tread the forums hoping for something great, but my gaming time is already spent elsewhere. I won't come back for ANY content. It's gotta be worth pulling me away now. I won't do it "just because it's Destiny" anymore. That ship has sailed for me. I know other people don't care, and maybe BUNGIE doesn't care. But you shouldn't care...BUNGIE SHOULD. I choose to let my play hours do most of the talking for me (most lol). I encourage many of you that want change to do the same.

The Lords of Iron are having fun...I don't see why you're not. But you do have a point. The other day I visited the "Speaker's" Tower and over heard some Guardians saying that with as many times as they've done the same thing over and over again they haven't defeated the Darkness yet. Honestly I agree with them. We of the Iron Banner could not be more proud of the Guardians efforts, but after a while you start to notice that every time they kill something...it comes back somehow it makes no sense and I feel bad for them. They need something else to do I hope that whatever battle is next...it's not a pointless one as it has been so far.

Nah... I have other games to play. I'll do my usual check of the Bungie Thursday update. If they don't have anything then I'll go about my business. If they do have something I'll be excited... And still go about my business. When they release some new content (or when IB comes back) I'll be back on Destiny. Me and my friends aren't sweatin it... imo, you shouldn't either. (Unless you have no other games to play)

Used to have at least 2 raid groups going at the same time at reset now I don't even sign in at reset because I barely have two people on destiny. Hardly anyone plays trials on weekends anymore. So I went back to fallout if I game at all besides the occasional strike or two for some marks. Hardly any of my at least twenty plus friends on at a time play destiny anymore because we are all bored with it. This update needs to be significant

I've just accepted that there is probably nothing truly meaningful going to happen until the fall. I get the feeling that they are putting most of their resources towards destiny 2. If something nice comes sometime this spring then cool, but I just don't expect anything big. Whatever happens people are going to be dissapointed, barring a new raid and/ or planet with strikes, missions, crucible maps, exotics, missions, etc.

Honestly it doesn't matter at this point. There is so much that needs to be fixed in this game it isn't funny anymore. A little bit of new content and a few light levels are not going to fix that.

9 RisposteI hear ya man. However, I'm keeping my expectations low for this next update with the hopes that they're using more resources on the development of "Destiny 2". If you haven't already read the leak apparently the next Destiny will be called Destiny: Shattered Suns, will involve a story line where Osiris is the main quest giver, and introduce a new cabal Raid. I'd also imagine that Bungie would be tweaking the engine and overall mechanics behind Destiny which I personally think is going to make or break the franchise. Destiny IMO is one of the best looking, best sounding, best feeling shooters that I've ever played. If you put aside those frustrating moments of lag and glitches Destiny is captivating. And this was Bungie's first kick at the can (with this franchise). I wanna see what they can build on top of the solid foundation they've built with Vanilla Destiny, TDB, HoW, TTK. Don't expect much in this update! Wait for Destiny 2....I have a feeling it will be worth it

It's already too late. I've moved on to other games, recently Alien Isolation and Until Dawn, currently The Division and then there's Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank and No Man's Sky on the horizon. I might come back for future DLC as long as they fix the horrible mess they've made of the progression system, but I imagine I'll just play through until I've beaten the raid or whatever a couple of times and move on. If they don't fix the mess they've made of progression, I may skip it altogether.
