To the people who are 13-16right now
I'll be fighting for my country when I get put of highschool and to those of you joining me, thank you. For those of you not joining me, make something of your life. I'm not going to have as many chances as you guys and gals in life. I have already faced that someone else is most likely going to marry my neighbor, I've faced that I might be alone throughout my service. I know what I'm getting into and I want you guys to know I'm doing it for you. Not some -blam!-tard politician. So for the guys, get a good career. Start a family
And to the girls, do the same.
You people are going to have a lot more potential in life than I ever will. I hope you know I'm going to be defending you people.
I know that I'll be forgotten. So please, make people remember you.

You don't deserve more recognition than anyone else. There's hundreds of thousands of Americans who have died in service, just because you join the military doesn't make you like them, so STFU, do your service in silence, and move on with your life.
