Bungie, you completely destroyed fusion rifles.
I just tried out a new Split Shifter Pro I got as a crucible drop. It came with hand-laid stock which means it had almost max stability.
[b]It was still taking 2-3 shots to kill people who were 5 feet in front of me.[/b]
Why? Because every time I fired a shot, only half of the projectiles actually hit the target.
You've ruined the recoil so badly that the only way to get a 1 shot kill is to aim at the ground and to the right. You can't put the enemy in your sights, because half of your shots will end up missing. Yet, according to you guys, you buffed ADS accuracy.
Please Bungie. Listen to us. Fusion rifles are TRASH. Please fix them.

Bungie colleagues are bitter because they keep getting destroyed by that one co-worker with a fusion rifle in Crucible.

Yup, the horizontal spread needs to go. Back when fusion rifles were a problem, it wasn't too bad of a nerf. In fact, it got nerfed alongside hip-fire stability. They don't seem to want to address any questions regarding ADS stability.

Yeah, I tried them again this last IB for old time's sake. I also experienced the 2-3 shot kill problem (and of course I was lucky to get that far, with a fusion you often don't get time for a second shot) so I switched back to whatever I was using before...probably a shotty or sidearm, since that's mostly what I was using. I wish they'd just stop nerfing everything. It just makes the experience inconsistent, and that's not fun. At least if I know something's going to behave a certain way, I know if it's worth investing the time to figure it out or not. The way it is now, if I do figure it out, it'll be good for maybe 2-3 months tops.

Completely agree I used fusion rifles alot in year 1, they still are in my top 3 total kills list across all weapon types and I barely used them in year 2 since most are unviable. Only plan C and a select amount of legendary ones are decent. You lose against shotguns but at longer range as shotgun range fusion rifles won't land the shots you need to kill someone. Even the high stability ones I have somewhere above 80 stability the kick when shooting is too high and you won't be able to land shots.

I agree completely. I had so many kills with fusion rifles year 1 that they are still top 3 overall kills for my character and they died a long time ago. They are utter crap and only the plan c is viable. I would randomly use others but they aren't reliable for how fast the crucible is. With everyone jumping you can't land a 1 shot on anyone because peoples movements has dramatically increased since year 1. Fusion rifles are good for killing people who run straight as the tracking isn't that strong. If they jump slide strafe you might as well wrap it up cause you will die, and that's if they are even in range to be 1 shotted. You have to be in shotgun range in order to get anything done and we'll you might as well use a shotgun as they were more reliable and easier. They are just crap and it is disgusting that they don't even care to buff them. That ads accuracy buff was a myth as they are still crap.

4 RisposteI still dunno what everyone is "feeling" with these. I used one the entire IB. One shot killed almost everyone. Maybe it just works with my style of play (I have no idea what that is, but it works for me).
