A lot of you dont know this, but theres a "code" some of us use in trials during the heavy round. If everyone on the other team waves at the start of the heavy ammo round, it means they don't want to grab the heavy and just play the round out like normal. Wave back if you agree to this. We all know how ridiculously broken heavy ammo is in this game and that's why some of us choose not to grab it.
And please have some honour if you do this. Dont cheat. Show some e-sportsmanship.
Edit: Im not saying you have to do this Im just spreading awareness so more people know about this

I never pick up heavy unless it's in the game plan for that match. I absolutely hate heavy in this game and hate it trials even more. I wave every time it pops up, and anyone who picks it up had better not be sloppy in the least, or I'll steal their face with my Black Spindle.
-
I made the mistake of grabbing heavy while playing with top tier guys. Luckily I never fired but I messaged the other time explaining that I didn't know what it meant. They were cool about it. But now I always wave heavy. It makes the game more balanced

2 RisposteSnipers gotta go because your nothing more than. This no skill
-
Here's me.......you wave I understand . I wave . My team pulls heavy then your team pulls heavy. I get cream pied for being a nice guy. You wave I wave . I show up at your box to find 3 enemy's . Nova bomb . Sure I won't use the heavy . Chump

Although heavies are easy to get kills with, they should stay. It adds variety to the game, as you cannot rush in with a shotty because you will most likey get blown to bits by a Truth or shreded by a Quillims Terminus(spelling?). Also, one round in trials should not be able to throw the game, especially because if the losing team wins the best outcome would only be tieing the game. If you are truly the best player, you will learn to adapt.

Funny, I was playing with these guys to go flawless an hour before reset, and my team mate started waving, so I asked what he was doing. Now, here we are all.
-
2 RisposteAll it does is give the weaker team a chance to win a round.

1 RispondiModificato da ecruz26: 1/6/2016 12:43:57 AMHonor in a game? Keep waving while I mow you down with my thunderlord
-
1 RispondiCan you please stop this
-
Play nice when trying to kill each other y'all!!
-
I look forward to seeing so many more threads complaining that both teams waved off heavy and then one team grabbed it.
-
It ain't cheating It's using what you are given to your advantage
-
I wave now because of this post and pick up heavy hoping it is a code ... never works
-
1 RispondiGood teams don't pick theirs up.
-
F that. Everytime I have trusted the other team they grab it.
-
Unfortunately I've been burned a few too many times to be that trusting of the opposite team.
-
Surrrrre

I found out about this last week. Its pretty cool. I played against a couple of guys from resolute (got smashed obviously). But when my teammate recognised them he waved and they waved back. Then he explained to me what happened. It was a cool moment

4 RisposteProps much respect! Good to see honorable players still exist in this toxic community😄
-
1 RispondiHaha it's about winning I'll wave back every time and grab heavy.
-
5 RisposteThere is no honor on the Internet.
-
I don't grab heavy much I don't feel like fighting over it when I'll most likely die after anyway
-
I think they just need to remove one heavy box and then slam the other into the middle of the map for trials That way power has to be fought over. Instead of just writing off round 3 as a waste every game.
-
I hope you wave long enough for me to triple kill your stupid team with rockets.
-
Yeah I've always hated heavy round in trials, anyone can get a kill with a rocket launcher I want 5 straight rounds of teamwork, coordination and skill
-
2 RisposteIMO I think waving off heavy is better left for predetermined matches, tournaments, sweats and for when they put in private matches. This is just asking for trouble in trials. Like a lot of ppl mentioned, ppl wave and still pick it up. Why get yourself upset over a video game because someone wasn't honest. Just grab the heavy for now and go over to whatever forum section bungie has for these type of suggestions and tell them how you want it changed so they can take it out. If it's there, ppl are going to take it and worse exploit the situation because they are not happy with themselves and winning trials is all they have going even if they have to cheat you in one round.
