Okay first let's assume the warlocks have some sort of tactical advantage, due to their smarts of course. The layout is a perimeter of bubble fortresses with strikers within the bubbles along with the defenders, and the sunbreaker in the middle of the "circle" formed by the bubbles. The warlocks advantage is the Titans are say, in a low area, surrounded by high points to all sides, like a gorge. Let's just say hunters are somehow out of the picture, dead or whatever, so they don't interfere. Both Titans and warlocks have sustained heavy casualties, warlocks suffering more due to the fact that when attacking a defended position, you have a disadvantage. Warlocks begin by assaulting with a wave of Nova bombs with vortex from above. Right after, shatter Nova bombs are deployed, preventing Titans from putting up more. Then stormcallers are deployed from directly above from say orbit or something, they are landfall and activate supers out of the range of the hammers, while throwing the storm grenades. The activation of the supers causes bolts of lightning from above that wreak havoc among the titans, effectively creating a lightning storm.Self revive sunsingers are mixed in, they throw their solar flares along with the gift of the sun perk and allow themselves to die from the fall. By doing this, they can revive and "catch" the Titans by surprise. The rest of the stormcallers jump in from above and the remaining sunsingers, half radiant skin, and half song of flame, bombard the remaining Titans with Viking funeral/touch of flame flamebolt grenades then jump in and finish off the remaining Titans, all while the voidwalkers who have finished with their bombarding, have jumped in. Then its a W for warlocks
PS: If no one comes up with a viable counter, warlocks win
Edit 1: Bump if you believe this is a viable strategy
Edit 2: Since there has been no viable argument, locks win

Yes, because what you decide is viable.

Has anyone else mentioned that the Bubble won't generate enough orbs if no one attacks it? I think that's the main problem with the bubble plan. If no one attacks them, then no orbs (or very little depending on your armor/subclass perks) get dropped which would supply the rest. If you want fast Super charges, you'd have to rely on certain armor or allies making orbs (which titans only have arching hammers compared to the Warlock's ranged mini-nuke and the Hunters' void arrows and sun bullets). If not enough orbs get generated, the (arrogant) Titans could find themselves in a bind unless they're good at sniping or Titan skating. As long as the Hunters and Warlocks are smart about it, then really the bubbles are only at an advantage in a flat plain (which seeing the terrain in Destiny, Mars or possibly the plane yard on Earth would be the only places close to that). If the terrain features enough cover for both sides, then the bubbles would only be good against enemy advances.
inb4 neo-"trench" warfare
There would be enough orbs if about 4 defenders constantly re pop their bubble with alpha lupi equipped.
-
I definitely see some viable arguments

Then hunters come by while your sleeping and murder you all in your sleep. :-)

Since you're going by lore, which states that "Titans are master strategists in the art of war and combat" titans would be the ones with a tactical advantage Titans are the military force Warlocks read books....

Titans call their titan god who has killed all the other gods. It kills all locks and hunters. Titans win. Change your comment.

You mean lord shaxx?

One, shatter doesn't destroy bubbles, only if all three hit (or two, but not one) Two, gift of the void, on bubble damage, generate orbs of light, generate supers, making your super, only beneficial to us. Three, storm callers can be "blocked" by armor of light, by repeatedly going in and out of the bubble to regenerate your shield Four, grenades outside the bubble, doesn't damage anything inside, and grenades that detonate on impact, detonate on the bubble, not the floor. Drops mic

Not sure about one but I know for a fact that 2 will destroy the bubble and the third will kill the Titan and anyone else in it. Love doing that.
-
1 landfall destroys the bubble 2stormcaller can destroy the bubble just with the lightning 3a sunsinger spaming grenades at the bubble can destroy it too
-
1) Move to next bubble, are you forgetting there are hundreds of them 2) NOPE, I have seen with my very eyes, when I was doing this same tactic to win a fight against a storm caller, he zapped lightning the whole time, didn't destroy the bubble 3) there is no possible way to destroy a bubble with grenade, if you can, bring me a video to prove me wrong.
-
Forgot to mention the landfall also kill the guardians inside have killed a lot of defenders like that
-
2 that stormcaller did something wrong i have popped a lot of bubbles because i main storm caller 3nah to lazy to look it up
-
Too lazy to look it up = no proof
-
Too lazy too look it up =\= lack of proof Too lazy too look it up=im too lazy too look a video in youtube about it and post it im in the app
-
Modificato da Jahoonathan: 12/8/2015 1:09:54 AMEither way you can't present proof. If you're too lazy = you're too lazy to look it up on YouTube and post it in the app. You're too lazy to look it up on you tube and post it in the app = you can't present proof. So by the transitive property (if A=B and B=C then A=C) You're too lazy = no proof.
-
Okay, you have good proof on destroying bubbles, now face the hundreds of fists and hammers

Oh yes I do.
Oh yes I do.
You said it takes 3. That already shows you don't. At all.
