Is there a legitimate reason to not have ToM?
People complain that everyone wants you to have this in the raid. But the thing is its not obtained by rng its just a bit of work.

Took my time doing the quest due to so much job related things and farming strikes. Took me 2 weeks to complete but I got it a couple of days ago.

1 RispondiToM is only good for sisters and oryx otherwise nothing special just look out for ridiculous demands on the kings fall raid forum when hard mode comes out. Must have ToM 310+ light or be kicked

2 RisposteLegitimate reason to NOT have ToM: your life doesn't revolve around destiny. You have more important things to do hourly then grind and grind to get a fake weapon. At least in my experience this is why I don't have ToM. A family with kids and a job. Plus I need 5 -blam!-ing fragments!

Can't get the stupid bosses for the last tier two stolen rune fragment I need Agonarch rune takes a few days to charge Final tier 3 court of oryx fragment can't drop till that's the weeks boss Last three fragments haven't been found yet [spoiler]so yes there's a reason some dont have it[/spoiler]

Laziness is a legitimate reason. Is it a good reason? Probably not. But definitely legitimate.

I don't touch it because Hunters break everything - I killed myself with ToM during the second week of TTK due to some bad Network connection (it claimed on host's connection I was outside the bubble during sisters and I was actually around mid-bubble and died towards the beginning of shooting the first sister).

When people request you to have ToM for raid, it lets them know you have run the raid and you are willing to work for an end result. It takes the guesswork out of knowing or not if you will be wiping a lot in raid. sometimes you just don't have time lol

If u haven't done the raid then ye obv that's a legitimate reason If u have done it then really u should have it.

I don't even want ToM, it's so situational and its stats are nothing special, I'll stick to No Time to Explain and Black Spindle

Other aspects of the game, I'm better off using something else With that being said, not [i]every[/i] part of the raid is the ToM useful. For Warpriest and Golgoroth, I like using Boolean Gemini because it is a versatile scout rifle. ToM is good for Daughters and Oryx Encounter

I haven't raid yet and probably won't raid until November. I'm stuck playing TTK on PS3 for now and if i'm going to raid for the first time, i want to do it with my clan on the beautiful PS4 graphics. On a positive note, i have all the calcified fragments non-raid related except the one from Nightfall, so once i raid, ToM is as good as mine :)

Not care. It's only use is at oryx but snipers work fine.

Because I have neither played TTK,nor bought the DLC.I don't wan't to farm an entire year to get the gear I like and then get the gear downpatched so hard that you can't use it anymore...I played a lot of Borderlands in the last couple of days and the core mechanics are way better than Destiny's mechanics but when it comes down to raid bosses Destiny is far ahead of any other MMORPG

No reason not to by now. Those that infused it are just plain dumb. Too easy to just do strikes with TOC to get other weapons to get your primary to 310. Those who don't have it and those who complain about raiders who require it, it's simple. No one wants a lazy person who is full of excuses on not getting something that makes things definitely easier. Destroys daughters, oryx and destroys mobs so fast while in the aura. You crappy people keep reloading your guns and being inadequate.
