To all those that got spindle...
Congrats you guys have teams that are able to help you with anything.
Some guardians like me can never get it so yeah...enjoy that sniper :(

Boss can be killed by one person alone with sniper/fusion and scout/pulse. The two others just keep slashing through ads and kill the blights. The solo guy goes right out and occasionally can help with the rear left/right blights.

2 RisposteFinally got ours yesterday on the third try. Swords were key for all the adds. Take out adds with swords and blights with shotties/snipers/shadowshot. In between add rounds, dps boss until next wave and do all over again.

Got it first try without a Mic and with randoms.

I feel you man. I tried last night for 3 hours with 2 different groups from LFG. No dice. Ugh.. Hopefully the daily will be on a weekend or a day I am off form work next time so I can spend the entire day on it.

I played with no mic,with two random guys I added from the recruitment section of the forums. We managed to beat it on our 2nd go.

We failed many times the first two times the mission popped up (when the gun was 310). We got it yesterday after 4 attempts, but unlike previous attempts, we had swords and new exotics to try new strategies with. Below is what seemed to do the trick: - Zhalos (if anyone has it) - Swords work wonders on shielded enemies - Titan Bubble with weapons of light + Sleeper Simulant for the boss.

By far the hardest gun go get in the game to date. I consider myself an avid destiny player and still have yet to obtain this one. 2 adds! I had 2 adds left to kill before time ran out. Oh well, maybe next go around.

As soon as you start the mission use heavy ammo synth and As soon as you get to the elevator use a special ammo synth. Have a solar shotgun for those captains. In the first room use heavy ammo and shotguns, same as in the second room. Use your shotgun in that little part where the two captains rush you from both sides. You should have 8 minutes to kill the boss and another ammo synth waiting for you. Also I would advise switching to a sniper.

It was exciting to get it but honestly it's not that great, not for an exotic slot anyways so your not missing anything really. 1000yard stare is more useful imo.

I didn't care to try. Zero weapons parts to even infuse or level it. Too many other guns Id use more to infuse and level and I refuse to go grind for weapons parts because they decided they wanted me to.

1x defender Titan with Blessing of light, 2 guys with swords to kill the boss, and 1 guy to kill blights and adds More bubbles makes it easier. The sword guys will go straight at the boss, pop a bubble, and slash away. The guy on blights and adds will make the room more manageable when the boss dies. We were successful with this strat first time after fails using other strategies.

There are plenty of ways to find a group. I'm sorry if you just had a crappy team, but if you didn't even attempt it then that is kind of on you. Sorry man. Forums and LFG are chock full of people who could have helped you man. Use them next time.

Did it at 291 and 292. Once with 1:30 left and once with :30 left. It's mostly strategy. Exotic swords through the first 2 rooms, then 2 on adds, 1 on boss in the final rooms (try to get there with at least 7 min left. Once you cut the adds down a lot, then all 3 focus on the boss until he's dead. Then whoop ass on adds: stormcaller and sunbreaker are the best for adds. Sunsinger with double solar grenades works awesome too.

You'll get it. Just takes the right team. I did it yesterday with a guy who had tried it 5x that day only and is 294 light, and a guy who has never done it and was 291 light. I was the only one with the exotic sword so I was the main attack the boss guy. 100% pop those blights when they come out. Keeps the adds manageable.
