You know who to blame for trials...
Whether you may think it's "cheating" or a "glitch" or an "exploit" those of you who abused this are to blame for trials. No matter how you want to define this quiver exploit (what I'm going to be referring to it as in this post) it was clearly wrong from the start, which is why bungie is banning people for using this exploit. Now everyone has to suffer and miss out on trials this week. And don't think we didn't notice all the youtubers that spread this around like wildfire. Hopefully all the bans are thorough enough that the last couple days of iron banner can be normal (for the most part).
And before anyone brings it up, I know I barely ever played trials. I play pve mostly, crucible is just for when I want to switch it up. I went 8-1 once and did a couple more runs after that. But this is about losing a huge piece of end game content because the quiver exploit "isn't cheating" and youtubers are telling people "hey don't do this exploit, but here's how to do it" hopefully this patch comes in sooner rather than later, along with the bans.
Edit: I want to make it clear that I'm not blaming hunter mains as a whole. I'm blaming those that cheat no matter what class as well as youtubers and also streamers that used this for quick and easy views.

2 RisposteQuit crying over it, it's a part of the game that isn't changed yet so it isn't cheating. Exploiting the original intended use is one thing, but it's the community that finds these exploits so they can be fixed to make Destiny as good as it can be

Blame the people who posted videos about it all over. I diddnt know about the glitch and I'm sure most people diddnt. It's the you tubers selling out for views and subs on their channels. It went viral and now everyone knows about it. I have never noticed this glitch before people started talking about it on the interwebs

1 RispondiI see people blaming bungie's "testers." How would they catch something like this? You know how many things they have to test to make sure they're working right? They don't have time to try every stupid combination no one would really think off to try and find exploits that may or may not be in the game. People blaming testers have no idea how gaming development works.

It was so clearly wrong from the start that Bungie didn't even know and, now that they know, instead of working overtime to fix their mistake they thought nothing better than postpone ToO. Luckily it's just a game. I really hope Bungie will never think about programming nuclear plants software.
