it's amazing to me how many people don't even want to believe that escalating microtransactions aren't at least a possibility

Modificato da Gehmnal: 10/14/2015 5:04:03 PMPossibility They're inevitable in PC/console games at this point. Microtransactions have proven to be popular enough on the mobile platform, and Free 2 Play online games are riddled with them enough that it won't be long (in years) that every game will have them. Destiny isn't even the first Triple-A title that cost money up front to nickle and dime you; anyone remember Dragon Age: Origins and one of the first quests you get at the first camp you arrive at involves buying a small DLC? I do not believe Bungie is wholly responsible for this move though, they are contractually obligated to do what their Activision masters tell them to. Activision and Electronic Arts have become blights on the gaming industry and want nothing at all to do with what's best for games and gamers. Activision has ruined Blizzard (yes, Blizzard) and now Bungie. EA has ruined Origin, BioWare, and Mythic. Enjoy games as they are now, things are a-changin'.
