I for one am looking forward to buying a year two Gjallarhorn for 50 bucks so I can rub it in all the welfare guardians faces I even bought all the emotes to make this come true
-
2 RisposteI'm actually ok with the level up boosts. It doesn't take that long and it really is just a grind for new players to level up. Besides, it doesn't give someone the ability to have more than someone who hasn't spent money. It just slightly speeds up a new players transition to the late game. however, those light consumables are a problem. They are a clear pay to win and are essentially buying gear. Raid gear. this crushes the incentive to play the raid over and over, and gives a direct advantage to people who have spent money.
-
Almost certain that lukesmith shot down the raid consumables. As well as leveling and Subclass leveling doesn't impact the game since having a maxed subclass doesn't make you better than those with max subclasses
-
4 RisposteI dunno if they'll loose half the player base but a big chunk, yes(including me). I say this because browsing these forums has shown me their are a lot of people here with more money than sense.
-
4 RisposteThat is alot of "pay to win" materials if i do say so myself. So if this is to be believed, then bungie lied?
-
If you have played Defiance this will all look familiar - over priced crap that you do not need £5 for 500 silver to get 2 emote - not worth bothering I did not mind BLOPS2 gun shader packs etc as they were cheap and looked pretty good - but emotes no thanks Like me most players will wave everytime they try to do an emote (or sit down) sometimes does not work at all
-
The test of time will reveal if I continue to play Destiny.
-
2 RisposteNone of the listed options will break the game in any way. They're mainly to allow people to catch up. Quit sensationalizing what really isn't a big deal. They will never sell anything that creates a pay to win scenario. They are smart enough to know the shitstorm this would cause amongst the media and players. If they've put all their eggs in a 10 year basket they're not gonna run that risk. Use your head. And lastly, if your psychic powers to predict the future are so great, go buy a lottery ticket instead of writing your sensationalist drivel here.
-
2 Rispostewhat if they won't cost silver but huge amounts of glimmer like the queen rank 3 ship? or maybe xur will sell special item that we cash in for strange coins
-
I think it's inevitable that "pay to win consumables" will become available at some point in the future....... It might not be Kings Fall gear related (as Luke Smith stated) but it'll be something. To those who think I'm scare-mongering or being dramatic, let's see how things are in a month or two.
-
its just a way for No0Bs to access end game content without grinding.
-
Just because a data miner found something does not it will be implemented.
-
I really don't care about micro transactions , as long as I'm having fun playing the game with my squad then I'll be fine .
-
nothing will happen. just like everyone said they will stop playing when the first DLC came out. plus Destiny isnt the only game that does this BF4 sells unlock packs for level 1 players if they want them. people bitch but they still play the game. honestly this doesnt give anyone an edge only makes people mad because they spent time playing instead of paying.
-
I'm guessing none of these tinfoil hat dataminer fearmongers read twitter. Luke Smith said these items were going to be sold by the speaker for motes but got cut.
-
5 RisposteIt's quite simple. Just roll with it and if Pay2Play happens, drop out of the game.
-
Everybody...(head twitch) everybody is losing their fucking minds!
and if this happens so will I
-
Yeah, that's garbage that doesn't belong in any game I'll play. If this is the direction Bungie decides to take Destiny, it'll be without this guardian, that's for sure.
-
I won't make anymore excuses. Its getting worse and worse.
-
This game is not bad, so don't get me wrong. But it is simple. These are stupid money grabs, but most heavy players will have already gotten the good stuff already. Many will be bored and just come back when the next dlc or whatever comes out (me for example...other things to do). This game was never about substance. Ever. It was about shooting space boogers and joking with friends.
-
I'm fine with all of those except the ones for the raid. There should be nothing purchasable that can affect endgame rewards. Nothing.
-
2 RisposteModificato da All iTiS: 10/14/2015 5:07:06 PMI still can't tell if theses are trolls or people legitimately think they would do these things.
-
Yeah, but that half has already paid for the game and won't pay again. (hence they're no longer a viable revenue stream anyways) Whereas the other half will probably spend more in micro-transactions, for the same IP (no need to redevelop the game, as these are stat buffs), than the original value of the game. I agree that using crap RNG drop chances and getting people hooked on the game, then offering these things is sort of "bait and switch(ey)" and I only expect this sort of stuff from free to play games, but from their perspectives and in cold hearted business I'd expect no less. Sure it's not cool for the long term and leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouth, but the sad thing is all big games now have this kind of bullshit in them. They're just maintaining the status quo.
-
If he texted saying the raid ones won't happen. Then I'm fine
-
1 RispondiHe said those items were removed. Period. He addressed it. Enough already.

Bdobbins is that you??
