Explain. Not trying to rustle any jimmies so please leave your salt in one of the sleeper simulant posts
Edit: obviously talking about precision hits with it
Edit 2: I main a paramedic irl so plz stop trying to bust out your medicine degrees on me.
Edit 3: not crying nerf shoulder charge im crying buff throwing knife headshots
Edit 4: reduce aim assist, ohk only with burn, that way you can't abuse the precision hit reset. Fair enough fam?
Edit 5: the medic thing was in context to everyone saying that blunt force goes through armor, I know that, I'm not disagreeing with that, you can put your little psuedograudate penises away now.
Edit 6: The logic of a 1000 lb hitting you at a full sprint will cause you a lot of damage is 200% true, by no means am I disagreeing with that. However we must remember that this is a thread about balance. The same logic can be applied by the fact that the animation of throwing knife evidently impales into helmets, and the knife also catches bitches on fire
Edit 7: precision hit with knife w/ burn does NOT one hit kill, it does however reduce them to enough damage that a pellet from across the map hip fired by coiled hiss can kill them

1 RispondiCharge has a charge time and easily countered. If you are dying to it frequently it isn't the ability it's the player. Throwing knives are instant. Can be thrown twice has huge aim assist and multiple talents and weapons that can reset or reduce the cool down. They are nothing alike and I find it humorous that people can't see the obvious.
-
cuz shoulder charge cut your head but the knife does not
-
3 RisposteThrowing knife has aim assist? Whut? Hahahaha thats a good one.
-
2 RisposteKnife w/ burn does kill those with low armour, I main a hunter (used to have 2) and always specced for Mac agility and recovery. It does OHK
-
1 RispondiOh, look, another Hunter crying about a another class's ability. What a surprise. Muted. Sooner or later I will have muted all of you whiny hunters.

Modificato da Sazomi: 10/7/2015 6:59:22 AMI use to think this until I used my throwing knife more often. Shoulder charge is an up close and personal thing. Basically melee range. Player is vulnerable. With a hunter, the throwing knife has soooo much aim assist. Hit a player once with let's say any hand cannon and then throw your knife and more then likely if you actually threw it at his body, it will hit his head and kill him. I've thrown knives at people's knees and some how hit their head. Add on the precision kills with throwing knife returns a knife and double up on knives means you've got a party going on. Less vulnerable when throwing a knife than charging into someones face with a shoulder. I main a hunter btw.

2 RisposteModificato da DaKoalaWrangler: 10/7/2015 5:46:58 AMShoulder charge is pretty infuriating when someone runs around the map and only OHK's with should charge, and with that being said I still don't believe it should be nerfed- it may be a little OP, but it is very close quarters. BTW, I'm not implying that OP is demanding a shoulder charge nerf. I do believe though that a precision throwing knife hit should definitely be a OHK. They are very difficult to get, and are not as ranged as other ranged abilities. It's stupid not to reward that sort of skill with a OHK.

Because a titan has the density of a dying sun.
-
Throwing knife is no one shot kill because of the perk knife juggler, while shoulder charge is one because you could have used a shotgun if you land a kill with it.
-
The throwing knife is a one hit kill.
-
The only reason is that shoulder charge requires you to be in melee range, while throwing knife has the safety of being ranged. Throwing knife also has a shitload of aim assist that would make it OP if it had 1HKO potential.
-
Shoot enemy once & then throw knife, thats a kill everytime.
-
4 RisposteThrowing knife = melee skill Shoulder charge = not a melee skill /thread
-
2 RisposteBecause you can't throw a shoulder charge
-
Modificato da master chif70: 10/7/2015 5:58:11 AMBecause with shoulder charge your throwing your whole body at someone and a knife is...well it's a knife
-
4 RisposteYou seriously think a simple stupid hunter knife will penetrate 1: space shields 2: space armor 3: its a shitty knife
-
Shoulder charge is a higher risk than throwing knifes. Precision still increases damage so I think it fine.
-
Yes. Reset perk shoukd have a cooldown in pvp but yes
-
3 RisposteShoulder charge doesn't kill ram users but you didn't see people making nerf ram threads
-
Reduce the aim assist significantly, but yes, make precision shots one-shot.
-
Modificato da YorrickS: 10/7/2015 5:46:32 AMLess risk = Less damage.
In this case
10 RisposteHunters complain that HoS has range and arc blade is "to easy to be stopped because you need to get close". Then they go around me saying shoulder charge is op because it's a one shot, and that throwing knife needs to be a one shot as well. Shoulder charge is an optional perk that takes away other options and has specific requirements to being activated. Where as throwing knife is always active in the skill tree and can be used whenever charged, at range.
-
3 RisposteI agree, throwing knife should be a one hit kill. But it should take 3 seconds to charge up, require you to be doing something that prevents you from readying your gun quickly, require you to run at someone most likely using a shotgun and have a second long animation delay that gives them a chance to shotgun you. Also shoulder charge isn't a one hit kill anymore. Just so you know.
-
Because science
-
I know right. Knife to the head should kill. Maybe not a max armor titan but yeah. For the rest it should kill.
-
6 RisposteShoulder charge isn't as ranged as throwing knife, that would make it pretty overpowered were it the case
