Explain. Not trying to rustle any jimmies so please leave your salt in one of the sleeper simulant posts
Edit: obviously talking about precision hits with it
Edit 2: I main a paramedic irl so plz stop trying to bust out your medicine degrees on me.
Edit 3: not crying nerf shoulder charge im crying buff throwing knife headshots
Edit 4: reduce aim assist, ohk only with burn, that way you can't abuse the precision hit reset. Fair enough fam?
Edit 5: the medic thing was in context to everyone saying that blunt force goes through armor, I know that, I'm not disagreeing with that, you can put your little psuedograudate penises away now.
Edit 6: The logic of a 1000 lb hitting you at a full sprint will cause you a lot of damage is 200% true, by no means am I disagreeing with that. However we must remember that this is a thread about balance. The same logic can be applied by the fact that the animation of throwing knife evidently impales into helmets, and the knife also catches bitches on fire
Edit 7: precision hit with knife w/ burn does NOT one hit kill, it does however reduce them to enough damage that a pellet from across the map hip fired by coiled hiss can kill them

Cause it's game logic, an instant throw shouldn't do as much damage as something charged up.

Come on this died like 5 MONTHS AGO

2 knives
-
Because you can't just throw a shoulder charge at someone from far away and run away like a lil bish.
-
I would say it has to do with the ranges of the abilities. Knife allows you to keep a relatively safe distance and activate with a simple click of the melee button. Shoulder charge requires a sprinting charge time, you have a short window to activate it and you're having to get danger close. Shoulder charge is a nice risk/reward ability while I view throwing knife as an ability to finish off injured people when I'd have to reload.
-
I agree the precision hits should be kills, could you imagine if a hit anywhere was a kill? It would be CoD all over again haha
-
Hunters have tiny arms. Hit the gym

1 RispondiHow do we know the knife blade is hitting the target? Or that there's enough power behind the throw for a kill shot? Just saying At least we know the weight of a 400lb Titan bursting into them is like getting hit by a truck
-
-
1 RispondiBecause then crucible would be a huge Hunter knife fest. Plus you can carry two and instantly recharge on a precision kill. Would be a tad overpowered. That's just my opinion. How many titans do you see actually using shoulder charge? Not many, but yes they exist. But it's a OHK because is requires you to be up close and personal anyway, you can literally crossmap with the knife without having to put yourself in danger. Again, that's just my opinion, no h8 intended

Edit no. 2 had me rolling.
-
2 RisposteBecause throwing knife has much more range, and doesn't require you charge it up by sprinting.
-
Because you can't throw a shoulder charging titan cross map and throwing knife does not need to be charged before you throw it (I don't mean melee cool down) also shoulder charge is shut dowm by any fusion rifle or shotgun
-
1 RispondiBecause you already get max agility and have a decent Meele
-
16 RisposteEh idk I imagine a 400 pound Titan shoulder charging your body is death compared to a tiny knife but that's just me.
-
If balance is the problem titans have to give up another perk to use shoulder charge.
-
Because maybe it does not fully pierce ?
-
Farther range
-
2 Rispostebecause you can carry two of them
-
2 RisposteKnife precision hits are too easy to get. That's why

Word up! I'm doing this stupid quest for knife kills in pvp, if it was a one shot to the head it would be long gone and over but it's not. I agree in some cases it shouldn't (certain equip perks on armor) but in alot it should! shoulder charge is -blam!-ing deadly and let's keep it that way getting blasted by a mighty Titan that can get that close to me should f me up!
-
5 RisposteFirst of all a throwing knife can kill you from across the room while shoulder charge needs to be in your face. Technically speaking 400 pounds of muscle hitting you at the speed is mostly likely to kill you while a throwing knife not so much.
-
4 RisposteBecause throwing knife is a base melee, and shoulder charge isn't
-
I think that a precision throwing ESPECIALLY with the DoT should kill in one hit. But it doesn't.
