Just trying to figure out what the destiny community thinks is a "good" KD..as a CoD player I've always had around or above a 2+ kd..in destiny I'm around a 1.6kd
-
When the 9 year olds say "10 is good enough"
-
10 million is decent
-
anything over 1 is good that means you are actually helping your team and not holding them back like 75 percent of the scrubs in pvp.

4 RisposteModificato da Taggin T: 10/5/2015 8:22:14 PMI run a competitive clan and formulated a general table of KD ratio vs percentile of Destiny Players on Destiny Tracker. I use this for recruiting all the time.. Hope this helps. 1.4 = Top 12% 1.5 = Top 10% 1.6 = Top 7% 1.7 = Top 5% 1.9 = Top 2% 2.0+ = Top 1% Of course, when I am recruiting, I compare their KD against time played and DTR to ensure we only get the best players. Not the camping boosters.

Anything over 1 is okay. 2 is pretty damn good. ~TheSpookyNike

Anything below two means you're a scrub. (I know this makes me a scrub.)

You're kdr is probably shit if you're a parent, lol!

10 RisposteHave fun trying to get a good KD with all the Titans and Hunters panicking and using their super on only you. While trying to shotgun you after.

1 Rispondi
Just trying to figure out what the destiny community thinks is a "good" KD..as a CoD player I've always had around or above a 2+ kd..in destiny I'm around a 1.6kd
Two ways to answer it: Typical forum answer Anything under my k/d is trash..... Reality If you're killing more than being killed yourself, you're doing more things right than wrong. You're Top 6% for k/d. I'd say that's pretty good.

Mine is around 1.08

13 RisposteIf you play solo 99% of the time then I consider a 1.5-2 KD as being good. If you play primarily with a group then 3+ KD is good. Finally I had to delete my first hunter because my KD was atrocious, I sucked so bad when I started playing, my average KD was like a .40. So rather than looking at a cumulative KD I believe the monthly KD is more conducive in deciding if a player is a good choice to play with.

3 RisposteDuck what everyone thinks as long as you maintain a 1.0 kd in crucible your average you pull your weight you won't have to worry bout it
-
It depends on the situation.

1 RispondiI get hammered and play which significantly affects my k/d in a not so good way

20 RisposteModificato da lIIume: 10/5/2015 8:49:51 PMThe average player in destiny has a negative k.d. I think its .98* or something like that. So something "good" would be around a 1.4+ 1.4 = Good 1.75+ = Really good 2.00+ = Great 2.5+ = Beast 3.0 = ???? Also, low combat rating + high k.d generally means they run stacked and/or camp their asses off.

going for sword kills without heavy ammo tends to drop KD alittle.. xD
-
I don't really try in crucible, mostly -blam!- around. But my KD on all my guys in Trials is over 2 or 3
-
Modificato da HAiDYADO: 10/5/2015 8:40:30 PMalways use destiny trials report prior to a trials game.. <1 KDs dont worry me at all.. 1ish KDs make me focus alittle more and not play as risky.. 1.5+ make me take out the final round sniper.. xD

1.5 or higher

Mines low, but I have a pretty high combat rating. I like to have fun not just sweat and try hard all the time. When looking for people for iron banner and trials I look for people with the nicest attitude. I've went flawless 15+ times with a lower than positive kd and was not carried.
