It just isn't the same game. It's nothing but strikes now. That's all one can do. The same three strikes, over and over and over. I don't even play this game anymore, I signed on yesterday, floated in orbit, thought? What should I do.... Strikes.... Or strikes.... Naaaa I'm good. Shut it off. Funny thing is I don't even have a reason at reset to play since they changed nightfalls. Some are but I'm not the type to do purposely overly long, drawn out quests that. Require collecting a ridiculous amount of some scarce item... Naaa, not my style. Destiny was fun year one, even addicting, but no more. In my humble opinion, they are falling off.
Edit: I saw Grandmas Boy for the first time this morning and I was thinking of the people on this forum the whole time! Hilarious movie I suggest it to anyone who has not seen it, it's on netflix

1 RispondiThankfully November is coming. Fallout 4. Battlefront. Halo 5 (end of Oct). The Division in the Spring. Bye bye Destiny! I may visit every once in a while but it'll be nice to have some top tier games (hopefully).

Pulse rifles are op in crucible...

2 RisposteI beat the raid, got ToM, Zalo, Jade Rabbit, a 310 100ys, the raid pulse and auto, and my character is 303 with all my power stuff on. I haven't had much ambition to play the last few days and feel a bit lost and bored with Destiny. I won't be around when Hard and Heroic Raid drops, because Halo 5 will be out and I'll be on that for at least a year due to me being an elite forger. I don't think Destiny lost it's touch. If anything, it got better. I just think most of us are getting burned out of just grinding. When Bungie made Halo, the grind was different. It wasn't a rat race like Destiny. It was a play at your own pace kind of game and still is, plus the fact that Halo has more customization features than any other shooter to date (with Far Cry coming the closest), which is why I'm so excited for Halo 5.

1 RispondiYea man I saw an idiot on the street and thought of you.

With ttk, there is not a lot of replayable content that gives rewards again
-
3 RispostePvP was the only thing keeping me here. It's no longer fun. Now just waiting for Halo 5 and Fallout 4.

1 RispondiThe word is addictive not fricken addicting, stop copying other tards.

November 10th...

Halo 5 is coming soon. I expect a mass exodus of XB1 players on 10/27... at least for a while. Some may return later, but if the Halo 5 multiplayer is as good as advertised maybe not. Then there is Fallout 4 which will thin out both XB1 and PS4 players. With XB1 already gaining Halo players, expect crickets when hitting the tower on XB1.
-
2 RisposteYeah. I'm currently just using it as a way to pass time till halo 5 and fallout 4 comes out

I almost never play strikes and am always busy playing something else. Sounds like you're spending your time in the wrong places. Also, it's not crazy to think it's you and not the game. People lose interest in things over time. I've quit playing tons of amazing games over the years, but never decided it was bad just because I lost interest.

I think it's still an always changing game though. Just because this is what we are doing right now doesn't mean this is what we will be doing a month from now. I think maybe they're just keeping everything manageable to make sure that the Taken King rolled out smoothly without major problems but yea I can see how it would get kinda blah although my interest has been reinvigorated with these new hidden missions and things that they have integrated into the game. I think that's really cool and it's probably going to push me to replay the entire thing. Plus I got the special edition Ps4 so I'm going to have to restart everything on there as well so I can play with my other friends bc that's all they have. I actually think we will be getting some new stuff before Christmas in Destiny. Sorry your not enjoying it man.

8 RisposteNightfall sucks. Heroics suck. Vanguard playlist sucks. Crucible (still) sucks. Light level is still the same. Just with bigger numbers. Raid weapons are disappointing. Half of the exotics advertised are missing or undiscovered. I WANT MY FLAMING HEAD BACK.

2 RisposteOP made this post to overcompensate for his small wang

2 RisposteI just get bored of the same strikes over and over, why did they even remove Sepiks, Phogoth, the Nexus and arching priest?
-
1 RispondiSorry the game has changed into somthing you dont like anymore, thats okay i hope you find something that will entertain you in future. However i still enjoy the game and feel that the quest were something the game should have had from the start. When i first heard about destiny i expected a big space epic, maybe not the scale of mass effect but not quite as small as halo ( in terms of scale anyway both are great games in there own right but are done at different scales, halo the more human/master cheif focus, mass effect in the sense of the whole galaxy). With destiny i was expecting something in between and now it finally looks like they are heading this direction which will be awesome and keep most people happy.

Yr.2 Destiny is 1,000,000 times better than the yr.1 Garbage named Destiny
-
im enjoying the way year 2 is so far many different quests to do and not all require farming things for progression but i do agree about the strikes ive done so many in a attempt to level up my only issue i have is all the repeat gear drops same crap over and over even exotics soooo many of the same ass yellow chest pieces.
