You've killed us. You've killed something that was the last of its kind, and will never happen again. You killed a community that spanned generations of consoles and games, and traded it's body for a bastardized version that you'll be lucky if it lives until the next game. You've taken something strong, while misguided and driven mad by the replacements you try to bring in, and broken it down until it decided it had nothing to live for. You have taken a proud group of individuals and swapped it for an asthma of Destiny playing drones.
And why did you do this? Money, money, money. The only guiding force in this decision isn't the community you just gladly took to the gallows wasn't respect for something that will never be replicated, but the revenue you can make off of the new traffic after exterminating the old generations. And you'll do the same thing to the ones meant to replace people like me for a profit.
This forum should have died, and it has every right to, but not like this and not now.

If you don't play Destiny im not sure why you care so much about the Destiny forums. You have a low opinion of the game quite obviously. This isn't your old Halo forum anymore. Time to move on.

If it's the Destiny forums, then why the hell is the site called Bungie.net and not Destiny.net? You would think that if these forums were truly "Destiny focused" then the site name would specify otherwise. Am I right or wrong?

Based on Bungies recent decisions it seems they certainly intend that theese forums pretty much be the "Destiny" forums. Even if every sub section isn't solely dedicated to Destiny.

Impressive name calling. Wonder why they feel the need for some house cleaning? I know exactly what it is. Maybe if so many of these stuck in the past Halo fan boys didn't feel the need to clog up the Destiny focused forums with their garbage this wouldnt be happening.

Ever heard of advertisement? It makes sense. You wouldn't see them advertising Halo CE when Reach was out.

Most people stayed because they knew others in the community. They don't care about games. They just want to talk and have fun. It's not fair to disband them just because they didn't buy a game.

Unfortunately for those people in that group who are polite and don't cause trouble a good bit of them feel their time is best spent annoying people who did buy and enjoy the game.
