Raid morons
All these people demanding that you must know what to do in order to join a raid. How the hell you going to know if you can't get in one? Stop being ignorant and try to bring a noob in once in a while so there's more people out there with experience to open the field for others. I understand that you have to at least have a high light level, but the games only been out for a short time.

I went into a sisters checkpoint yesterday not knowing what to do and we made it in a couple tries, my team was really awesome. We couldn't beat oryx though because none of us knew how to do it. Still have the checkpoint and probably won't complete it before the reset

I had a team of people who never been inside kings fall. 1 below 290, none of us had a great sniper maybe one person. We beat the warpriest. Im using my fwc fusion and im doing some of the most damage to the bosses.

2 RisposteIt so hard when people don't listen though. Last night after 90 minutes on warpriest I left because 3 of the 6 wouldn't listen or didn't understand. I kept telling them use your super I need orbs. He then shoots his bow at the ceiling and says sorry. Never used it again. And also calling out plates. Left side go, middle guy gets on his plate. Over and over till I wanted to kill myself. I do 209000 damage to him on first round next closest did 75000. Oh and don't spend the whole raid talking to your family and not paying attention. Omg I got better things to do

For everyone that helps out an inexperienced player learn the raid you will have a person on your friends list that you can choose that will now know what to do

2 RisposteI know right? This one guy had beaten the raid 4 times but he let four noobs in (including myself ) and the way he explained it. I remembered all of it and could explain right now. But the thing is not only having a good teacher but being a good listener. Everyone on their was mature and attentive and we got the raid done in 3 hours except for oryx because our leader had to leave. And we got golgoroth in two tries.

Just form your on group. That will get you experience plus you also will have the power to KICK/BOOT people you feel are holding you back. Also most video tutorials give you plenty of necessary experience. I've played parts of the raid myself haven't done the whole thing due to lack of time. But from what I've played it's all pretty much easy after watching a video and choosing the right weapon.

There are plenty of inexperienced groups looking to learn together, we've done the hard work and sometimes don't want raid newbies holding us back.

Lol I completely understand. I started it last night with a group there was 3 of us that were new. We had 2- 298 1 at 281 1 at 287 1 at 290 and I 293. We made it up to the daughters before we stopped. Took us 3 tries on gorgoth

I want to finish the raid quickly and have fun not get annoyed with idiotic mistakes. you don't need to do the raid to learn. watch 1 of the 100 of guide videos on how to do it.. the raid is all really easy.. not hard to learn

3 RisposteI usually help raid noobies. Every since VoG days. But, there's a certain point where I give up on them. Especially ignorant ones who need me to explain the samething more than fifty times.

Let's say a team has half of the mechanics of a raid down and they invite a new person after hours of playing. That new person has to learn all of the mechanics from scratch, adding more time to the people who have already put in their time and effort. I never understand how people who are hostile to players who demand experienced players always forget that there are different levels of experience. If you are new to the fight and haven't studied strategies then you should play with others who are in the same boat as you. Likewise if you've learned most of the mechanics you should play in a team that is similarly experienced, unless you voluntarily wish to train new players. You can't just jump into a raid team that demands experienced players and then expect to learn the mechanics on the fly because you will be in over your head, especially if you haven't been studied video strats. People always tend to watch a video and think "oh this is easy, I got it". But it's NOT easy. If you fall into this category then you are expecting to be carried, not trained, even if you believe with all you've got that you want to learn. I spent HOURS training new players, and they all either disconnected early or just couldn't get it in enough time. The first time I finally beat crota it was with a bunch of kids, who, unlike most of the adults I played with, were good learners, willing to take criticism and follow orders, and they were diligent. Meanwhile I join parties of adults who demand experienced players and they know nothing about the fights. (I'm 32 by the way) This is not the Crota fight--the mechanics for these boss battles demand that everyone knows what they are doing, period. And if you can't understand that and demand to join a party above your experience level then who is the selfish one in the end?

1 RispondiThe hardest part to teach a new person is probably the daughters because it randomizes who goes after the relic, other than that it's not too hard to explain the roles each person has for the other sections.

I went in 100% with my whole fireteam we never looked up or watched anything made it warpriest could of beat them but it was super late

Watch the videos. I was stuck at the daughters with a group yesterday that simply didn't want to learn the mechanics. I ended up having to threaten to kick if they didn't get their shit together. I ended up having to do it with another group entirely.

Some people just want to get it done opposed to teaching and spending hours on it. I recommend you make your own group and go in blind folded just as we did

15 RisposteI am refusing to watch anything about the raid at all. Why? Because I paid money for the game and want the full on first time run through experience. I didn't do this with Crota or VoG because I was playing catch up with everyone else. Not this time though. I want to experience it just like it did the first story mission, not knowing what to expect at all.

Some people only search for experienced if they have no time to explain or teach someone else. Some people do work and don't have time for any of that. I'm sure if they did they wouldn't mind. I've made posts looking for experienced people when I want to get it over with asap. At least 75% of the time it's a raid noob that joins and I'd teach them what to do. Its not that hard but having to wipe non stop is time consuming.
