All these people demanding that you must know what to do in order to join a raid. How the hell you going to know if you can't get in one? Stop being ignorant and try to bring a noob in once in a while so there's more people out there with experience to open the field for others. I understand that you have to at least have a high light level, but the games only been out for a short time.

Well bud, I gotta tell you, the best way to learn how to do it is to do it. I agree completely. Best thing I can suggest is look for a clan or community to join. A good first step would be to state your console. I will warn you though, not only will you look like you're doing it wrong, bur you'll feel like you're screwing up if the ones instructing you are morons. Pick your raid groups carefully.

3 RisposteYea just bc I'm a "low" light lvl no one will play if u want to play with me my psn is Voltz_Tg

Just need the team

Modificato da CUROCH: 9/27/2015 6:41:18 PMThat is why I am in a clan. The raid is on its second week so the people that have been playing have already had their struggles. When I go to LFG I'm going to find someone to help and not have to explain all the mechanics. I'll do that for the clan and friends. Play with friends or join a clan. That being said, I don't boot people that join and are new. I have helped plenty of new people.
-
After listening to someone reasonably explain why they do this I understand their side. I'm still not against someone bringing in a noon and talking them through it though (I've yet to do the raid). However, to help you know what to do, even before you ever do the raid, watch YouTube videos to learn what to do.

2 RisposteWag wah

I'm looking for others that have not done the raid..to play with... -blam!- everyone else..Let's form our own group.. or join mine..
-
Or you could find other noobs and go into it together. See how fun it is.....
-
It's called YouTube
-
Just keep looking you will find people. I've played it and I won't play with people like that cause if someone needs something to play they suck.
-
You're the moron OP. There are guides everywhere. Read a guide for 5min, and now you magically know what to do in the raid and not at the expense of others!
-
Funny, there is a post directly above this entitled : "why don't you know what to do in the Raid?"
-
See my other post in "Endgame".. it should be like 4th or 5th from the top it's called "Willing to Sherpa Through King's Fall Xb1".

8 RisposteModificato da JTtheLoneWOOF: 9/27/2015 5:40:38 PMThe morons that you speak of (there are thousands unfortunately) are punk ass egotistical "elitists" that have no life outside of this game. Their whole identity and self worth is attached to being a die hard try hard guardian. This is my advice that I am living by as well... Don't go into the raid right now. Give it a couple of weeks. Let the written guides and you tube videos come out that are clear and concise. Just because the raid came out "yesterday", doesn't mean you have to get into it right away.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaattooo Datto

Yes I was invited to a group yesterday. After just a few minutes of listening to their bitching I reminded them they asked me to join I did not ask them. I promptly left and blocked all 4

38 RisposteDo you know WHY people demand that you must know what to do in order to join a raid? Because people don't want to sit around and have to reiterate a very simple method and have time for practice, when you could easily just watch a YouTube video you can reply and understand how to do the raid before even joining. If you like to play efficiently, and get shit done without having to spend multiple hours on a damn raid, it's VERY smart to do something like that. There are thousands of people who are out there who have already beaten it and know how to, you're replaceable as hell.
-
2 RisposteOk listen everybody, sure there are dozens of guides on how to beat raid bosses. Last night it took my team 4 hours to kill oryx because it takes trial and error to do this raid successfully. Video and guides are awesome to explain the mechanics of the raid but you need to execute them and I know everyone has a small time frame and little patience. But in the end that patience will pay off.

2 RisposteModificato da Nightmarity: 9/27/2015 5:25:58 PMSorry not sorry. Sometimes my team has to get a random. If we have other things to do, we want things done quick. We give them a chance, but if they keep messing up or won't listen. They're out. With 2 randoms it took over an hour to beat Oryx...with our team, it took 20 minutes. We learned the raid on the day it came out. Without guides. You guys have guides now, study up. Then say you have experience and know what to do.
-
2 RisposteWell I played with some kids that didn't know what to do last night fighting oryx and one was using a fourth horseman, so I think you guys may be the morons..
-
2 RisposteElitist morons ruin parts of Destiny. Like when you had to have a Gally to do Crota. I used Icebreaker the majority of the time, incidentally. Certainly before I got a G-horn, and we routinely brought him down. So not only moronic, but wrong as well. Bravo.

When I first did it I was 289, however I have the y2 nighthawk helm which helped

I went into a sisters checkpoint yesterday not knowing what to do and we made it in a couple tries, my team was really awesome. We couldn't beat oryx though because none of us knew how to do it. Still have the checkpoint and probably won't complete it before the reset
